Not yet, its all being promoted organically and through word-of-mouth. Not in scope in 2 year plan, may happen during the realisation of 5 year plan.

10.What were the problems you faced during the starting days and how did you resolve them?

People have become so used to the convenient ‘pill culture’, that they have lost their body and mind to it. Our ancient wisdom based on more than 5000 year old healing systems like TCM and Ayurveda had a very integrated concept of health and well being, and we are nowhere closer to those concepts, and so we see each individual suffering in their own ways. Small negligible health issues do not score anything in our health cards, whereas it is these issues that are the close to our future health. We don’t mind getting symptomatic relief through such medications. BUT, OUR BODY DOES NOT SURVIVE ON PILL CULTURE BUT NATURES WAY OF OPERATIONS INTERNALLY! We are 100% hard-wired with the energy of nature and drifting away from it will cause body imbalances for sure.

So, when I started talking about such concepts, people could not relate to it. Rather, initially, it was challenging to convince even my family too, to eat and live by the ancient principles of nature, simply because our senses just believe the modern developments and researches and ways of living. Believe me we are much more than that!

So the biggest challenge had been to convince people to get onto the right ways of eating and living, and once people trusted and tried the recommendations they did not revert back to their old ways. It just transformed them like nothing else. Not just body but mind benefits too, simply as if it fits your whole being into the right perspective automatically. The biggest step that I adopted to wave away this challenge was:

  • Investing my energy only in the people who were ready to transform and bring changes in diet and lifestyle
  • Conduction educatory session on different aspects of holistic health. It is only when you understand yourself and the wrongs that you do to yourself, that you intend to change. It has to be internal and must come from within. And it only happens when you know the truth!

5 problems you can face in online learning and how to deal with them - Education Today News

11.Are you married, single or in a relationship?

I am married and a mother to two beautiful girls 9 and 4 and a half years old.

12.What are your hobbies? What do you do in your non-work time?

Reading, Cooking Healthy, Investing Time in Holistic Self-Care, Travelling

13.Whats your favourite food & holiday destination?

Regarding food, its just ‘FOOD’ that is my favourite. This means that I am quite experimental person when it comes to food and like trying different cuisines and recipes, specifically and preferably healthier foods. I am a vegetarian and more of a fruit and vegetable person. I do not stick to tastes as favourites and this is what my education in holistic healing taught me. If you are in balance all tastes are equally dear to you! And my eyes are always looking for healthy platters in an unhealthy world!

14.Whom do you consider your idol or biggest motivator?

All strong women who just keep moving and finding solutions despite of odds in their life are my motivators. I have a special interest in reading and coming across such women to get my regular dose of motivation.

Now, this may sound absurd but I am a fan of Adversity! Adversity comes with a Power to Choose! I am what I am because of my adverse situations and chose to find suiting solutions and moved on!

But to give it a name, I am highly impressed with Michelle Obama and Robin Sharma, I feel they put my thought into words exactly!

15.What do you feel is the major difference between entrepreneurs and those who work for someone else?

Sense of satisfaction of creating something of your own in this world, similarly like you feel a sense of calm and satisfaction when you create a baby.

16.If you had the chance to start your career over again, what would you do differently?

Frankly NO. I am in a happy zone and all happy about my journey. It was challenging but it taught me everything what I have achieved. I truly believe it is important to pass through a tough journey to learn the ‘Handling’ aspect of life. Direct destination cannot make one a complete learner, that’s how nature has designed us, and so the world originated without any conveniences!.

Looking to do things all over again is an escapist thought. If you adopt an attitude to learn and resolve tough situations positively, it is the biggest teacher. I chose to seek positivism from within during tough situations and come out learning something.

17.How has being an entrepreneur affected your family & Social life?

My family has been very very supportive. It has impacted them in a very positive sense. They get to eat new and healthier recipes often. children are learning and adopting an independent and never-give-up attitude. Most importantly they are inheriting the secrets of health and well being for life now! Having said that, there are times when I feel I consume their time, but then I try to compensate this guilt by taking time off often and involving them in everything that I do.  Social life has improved with a lot of people getting involved in the holistic health movement.

18.Anything, you would like to say to our readers or upcoming entrepreneurs?

There is no bigger teacher the ‘Adversity’. Just a food for thought: Success and things happening easy leave you lazy and at ease, where as it is only adversity that makes your mind run faster for betterment and solutions. Change your attitude and consider thank adversity for its existence!

19.Tell us something about your education & family background.

I come from an IT background and have worked in a corporate for more than a decade. I started my journey into holistic healing world only after realising that there is no end to fame, pay cheques and power, and it does not necessarily mean happiness. So technically I am a Masters in Computer Application (MCA), and as a holistic healer my training are:

  • Doctor of Oriental Medicine (O.M.D.), Calcutta, India
  • Certified Macrobiotic Counselor, US
  • Certified Acid-Alkaline pH Health Coach, US
  • Certified Detox Specialist, UK
  • Raw Food Nutritionist, UK

20.What is your USP which makes it unique & different from other start-ups in similar domains.

I 100% believe in ancient wisdom. The way our ancestors decoded the human  body and understood it to enjoy life healthfully and well, we are not even closer to that wisdom in today’s times. My practice is fully based on combining the best of both world for optimum health and well-being:

  • Concepts if ancient wisdom from Macrobiotics, TCM and Ayurveda
  • Concepts of Modern Nutrition Theory
