Meet Shagun Khanna, A small town girl, helping people to achieve their dreams

Family is considered as our biggest strength, One person can fight with the entire world if he has support from his family. In a family the head is considered as father and it becomes really tough for a family to struggle and survive without the head of the family.
Father protects you from all the evils, take care of your needs, earn the livelihood for the entire family. Many people in this world do have have that luxury. Its said, some people are not very lucky, they never see young age, many directly turn old from their childhood, for many of us, its the weakness and for many of us it becomes strength and a chance to explore their potential.
Meet Shagun Khanna, a very young age girl who lost her father at a very young age, being a single person in her family other than her mother and with no siblings, she was the single bread and butter earner in her family.
She realised her potential at a very young age and started working at the age of 16 just after her 10. She realised her dreams at a very tender age and felt to share her creativity, her passion and zeal with many others.
At the age of 17 she started her own venture with the name Dreams Creations. After loosing her father at a very young age, she was not able to get into higher studies due to lack of funds but now is helping many others to realise their dreams who are not able to afford quality education.
It is rightly said if you give a fish to someone, you feed him for a day, but if you teach someone to catch a fish, you feed him for life. The perfect example is Shagun Khanna.
Today her venture offers education and training to unprivileged students as well as many others irrespective of their age, who are willing to achieve their dreams and passions.

1.What is the Name of Your Venture?
None other than Dreams Creations- A way to your Dreams.
2.Who is your target Audience?
People (No Age Bar) who really are serious to do something in their life and want to make their career in Creativity are only the one can be pushed not for coming back but to go ahead!
3.Where is your venture based ( city, state, country) & What are your target areas?
Janakpuri Colony in a small town Saharanpur (Uttar Pardesh) India. (All over India)
4.What problems does your venture solve? What are your products or services.
We are mainly into bringing the dreams of people come true by helping them in various things like I use to give coaching to the students paid as well as (Free of cost) for the ones who really want to work hard and can not. So we have various courses like Calligraphy, Qulling work , Spoken English , Abacus , Coachings from class Ist to XIIth and many more upcoming.
5.Share the idea or story behind the venture. How did it come to an existence?
So here the secret reveals, I am a girl from not so high class family, I am a girl from middle class family and lost my father when I was 16 , and was preparing for my boards. Life has no excuses , once it is gone it can never come back. Yes! My life was my father. I lost him but never thought of doing hard work at that time. After all , I was a student , I had to study further. But who knows, What turn Life takes.
A single daughter, No siblings and always saw my mother father paying hard work for me. I started thinking that what can be done now? After all there were no earning hands, People laughed when I said I want to do something. They said “Pagal ho gai hae ladki, Itni choti si umar mae kya kregi” . but I knew that I can definitely do something. I started teaching in a small school where I got 1k as my first salary, My Grandparents and my mother felt very proud that time and said “You were asking na that who is going to earn now?” Its none other than you. Felt great, Gained confidence. and came with an idea of opening an institute where I can help the children with creativity and coaching who really want to learn but are not able to just due to no financial support and I am happy to see that my students are doing really well and making me feel immensely proud.
6.How did you identify your co-founder?
I myself is the founder as well as Co-founder.
7.What expansion plans are you looking for the next 2 years, next 5 years?
I am looking for that stage when people will say “There are no more seats left in dreams” and I ll proudly say that No worries we have that turn up in which we can open an other “Dreams” for you. The person who can understand this mystery is seriously with brain ;)
8.Where do you want to see yourself in next 5 years?
The place where no one ever has reached yet.
9.Have you raised any funding? Or have any plans for the funding?
No! Not Yet!
10.What were the problems you faced during the starting days and how did you resolve them?
People laughed on Teaching at younger age, but now people can see that what sort of teacher I am.
11.Are you married, single or in a relationship?
Single.
12.What are your hobbies? What do you do in your non-work time?
My hobbies are to derive more and more ideas of creating something new for my students. I usually design more fonts of Calligraphy whenever I have a non-working time.
13.Whats your favourite food & holiday destination?
I like to eat Pizza’s and would love to visit Paris for my holiday.
14.Whom do you consider your idol or biggest motivator?
My Grandparents and One of my motivational friend HIMANSHU TOMAR who has always supported and motivated me on every path.
15.What do you feel is the major difference between entrepreneurs and those who work for someone else?
Entrepreneurs take risk with their own lives and Those who work for others has to make them feel that the risk has been taken by them for others.
16.If you had the chance to start your career over again, what would you do differently?
Would like to open an NGO where I can teach more and more students and also to let them know that they have some special talent and to help them in show casing it.
17.How has being an entrepreneur affected your family & Social life?
The survival of my family is good now compared to the days when there was nothing to eat.

Just 3 beautiful words “Never Give Up.”
19.Tell us something about your education & family background.
Pursuing with graduation in Arts but having very well experience of Teaching from last 5 years. My family consists of My Grandparents, My Mother and I myself.

We never give up till our students achieve success whether its a day or an year.
