Today we are living in cyber world, cyber means virtual world. This world might be virtual but has more crowd and potential than real world.
If we consider a recent study The biggest increase has been among young adults, with time spent online almost tripling from 10 hours and 24 minutes each week in 2005 to 27 hours and 36 minutes in 2014. In total, the average adult spends more than 20 hours online a week, which includes time spent on the internet at work.
This virtual world has come with lot of positive potential like we discuss business with our clients across the world through our emails, we share messages on messenging platforms, we connect with our clients, friends, colleagues as well as relatives via linkedin and facebook and the best part is doing business has become very easy.
In 2016-2017 there has been a tremendous increase in online payments after demonetisation, there are so many virtual money apps like paytm, payumoney, mobiwik etc but at the same time, this also has given a lot of threat to the world.
Every single day, lot of email accounts, bank accounts get hacked and the money is stolen, lot of accounts on different social media websites gets hacked and privacy of the users are compromised. Even the email accounts are hacked and lot of potential and important data is compromised.
Just the way, we have safe, locks and security guards to protect our valuable assets in real world, we also need to be cautious in the virtual world.
Here we need some specialised task force who are able to manage our security and privacy online as well as help us to track criminals.
Cyber world is quite new and is becoming threatening day by day and getting tough to prevent criminals as most of the crimes are done across the boundary.

Lucideos is a leading Delhi-based company that provides Cyber Security services and training. In that vein, Yasir built Macksofy Technologies Pvt Ltd from an idea to one of Mumbai’s most exciting tech companies in 3 years. The company provides Cyber Security services to numerous startups, small and large-scale companies across India. Well renowned for their expertise in the field, Yasir, and his team have won numerous awards and recognitions from tech giants Google and Intel.
An expert in the Cyber Security field, the young, self-taught entrepreneur quickly realized the need to train young, aspiring tech professionals in the fields of Cyber Security and Ethical Hacking. “Every year thousands of students graduate from IT courses across the country but don’t have any real knowledge or experience in Cyber Security,” says Yasir. “I initially conducted a workshop at my former college L.S. Raheja, and the response from the students was amazing! They loved the program and kept following up with us- asking for more tips and advice. We’ve even employed some of our top students at Macksofy after they’ve completed their courses with us!”
Although Yasir jokes of a few students enrolling for the classes just so that they can hack into their partners’ phones and computers, he believes that there is a huge market for trained, ethical hackers and cyber security specialists not just in India but across the globe. The team believes that Macksofy’s larger vision is to secure digital India in the digital world.
