Online Fitness Consultation Platform SQUATS to Launch 120+ Offline stores Across India

It is launching 10+ diet and wellness centres across Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Pune, Raipur and Bangalore in, aiming to reach out to those who prefer face-to-face counselling.

Pune-based online fitness consultation platform, SQUATS is all set to give fitness enthusiasts an integrated platform to plan their customised diet, fitness and wellness regimens. It is launching 10+ diet and wellness centres across Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Pune, Raipur and Bangalore in, aiming to reach out to those who prefer face-to-face counselling.
Unlike other fitness-related businesses, SQUATS started as a revolution on Facebook in 2016 to enable its community members to get healthy. It was initiated to address the challenges in the fitness industry where misinformation, distrust, unsatisfactory results, quick-fix solutions, and fad diets were impacting the industry’s reputation.
With an intention to educate and empower the community to take charge of their health and learn the basics of a healthy lifestyle, SQUATS implements a distinctive approach in helping its members to do just that- with the right knowledge to community support, mentorship and guidance by its team of 130+ consultants at each and every step. While the platform today has 400,000 retained members reaching out to it online, founder Jitendra Chouksey realised that offline centres were required for customers who still prefer the idea of receiving face-to-face consultations.
Commenting on the development, Jyoti Sehrawat Dabas, Director- Strategy and Planning, “We are quite excited about our offline debut considering how our clients from across the country as well as abroad are satisfied and reliant on us for taking them through their fitness journey.  While we will be launching these 10+ centres across tier-1 and 2 cities in next two years to reach out to segments that are inaccessible for a variety of reasons, we are targeting 120+ centres across India including tier 3 cities by 2020. Our motive is to make the task of staying fit and healthy extremely easy for even someone sitting in Surat or Aurangabad. They should be able to open SQUATS website for their diet or training plans and also meet the fitness consultants for any queries related to their fitness goals.”
The company says, 30% of its clientele comprises NRIs. Catering largely to people between the age groups of 25 and 35 years, the brand has been invoking a feeling of community and loyalty amongst all its members. It emphasizes on evidence-backed principles of nutrition and fitness to transform members into stronger, fitter and healthier human beings.
Clients can enrol themselves for a particular program through the website and get a mentor allotted for the same. Weekly diet and training plans are provided to the client based on their health history, current lifestyle, and goals. While the interactions with consultants usually happen over the phone and messengers, the launch of wellness centres will enable customers to access holistic and seamless guidance towards their fitness excursion.
Launched in January 2016, SQUATS has a highly engaged community of 400,000 members supporting each other’s goals and inspiring those around them.
