OnePlus 6T vs OnePlus 6: Key Differences

With less than two weeks, the OnePlus 6T launch is already making a lot of hype. But, before we jump into the T world of OnePlus, here are a few upgrades we may see on the new OnePlus 6T.

The Tear-Drop Notch

On OnePlus 6 we saw a standardized iPhone X like notch which came with an 19:9 elongated display. But OnePlus 6T will come with a tear-drop notch at the top in a 19:5:9 screen aspect ratio. It will allow more screen space and higher body to screen ratio.

In-Display Fingerprint Sensor

OnePlus 6T is going to be the first OnePlus smartphone to come with an in-display fingerprint sensor. The company has already been teasing the smartphone on its social media handles with the ‘Unlock The Speed’ tag.

No-Chin Display

The leaked images of OnePlus 6T show that the upcoming smartphone will come with an edge-to-edge display. It has very slim bezels, and the most surprising part was it’s very-thin chin like the latest iPhones.

Compared to the 6.2-inch display on OnePlus 6, the OnePlus 6T will feature a taller 6.4-inch full HD+ Optic AMOLED display with a teardrop notch on top. It will come with a screen resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels.

OnePlus is rumored to come with a dual camera set up in a vertical placement, similar to that of OnePlus 6. But the camera speculations are being expected to see an upgrade with OIS on both the cameras.
