It is going to diversify each day. In such an era, where it is advancing at such a rapid speed and is inevitable, how can a business decide what is the best possible method it could adopt to operate at its full potential?

5. Would you like to Share the idea or story behind the foundation of Cenacle ?
Kodak is a well known name, that was once synonymous with photography.
Prior to the late ‘90s, almost every picture in the U.S. was developed on Kodak film. But then digital broke big, and the number of digital cameras went from 4.5 million units in 2000 to 28.3 million units in 2007.
Digital photography took off and Kodak was not ready for it.
Instead of doubling down on digital photography, Kodak steadied its course, neglecting to look at what digital meant to both the addressable and available markets.
Ironically, Kodak actually invented the first digital camera in 1975. But it was Sony who first introduced a digital camera to the people in the form of the Sony Mavica in 1981.
Kodak failed to realize the market potential of the new technologies and their own research.
By the time they realized, they missed the timing and fell behind. The company later spent millions on research – but never caught up:
A big part of the issue there was talent.
The same employees that may be geniuses in film and film cameras are not necessarily as advanced in electronics and digital cameras.
This is the situation that is applicable for many industries in the world today. Organizations are unable to take full benefit of technology evolution for two reasons:
Unable to keep up with the rapid growth in the technology
Lack of visibility and awareness in cross-domain advancements
Technologies evolve more rapidly than organizations can handle.
Dedicating manpower to learn each new technology is not feasible.
Evaluating each new technology to validate if it fits the business goals is not a feasible option
Large gap in the technology adaptation for non-technology domains
E.g.: Manufacturing industry can benefit heavily from sensor based applications, but
Manufacturers do not have sensor technology know-how / expertise, and
Technology experts do not have the manufacturing domain know-how (i.e. the plant mechanics)
Cenacle bridges this gap between the technologies and businesses.
