Funding in Indian startups this week (03 Dec-08 Dec )

This week 14 Indian startups received funding, of which 11 received a total sum of about $136 million. Among them, Oyo raised the highest investment of about $103 million followed by MoEngage, which raised $8 million.
Meanwhile, funding for 3 of the total funded startups remained undisclosed.

List of disclosed funding deals this week

ShopKirana: B2B e-commerce platform ShopKirana has raised $2 million from Info Edge with the participation of AET Fund, Japan’s Akatsuki and Incubate Fund and Better Capital AngelList syndicate.
Facilio: Facilities management software maker Facilio has secured $6.4 million series A round from Tiger Global and Accel Partners. The Chennai-based startup had scooped up $1.5 million from Accel in March, this year.


Quikr: Online classifieds and service platform Quikr has raised $7.8 million in a venture debt from Innoven Capital. Probably, this external capital infusion has come to the Bengaluru-based firm after 42 months hiatus.
Boodmo: Gurugram-headquartered autoparts marketplace Boodmo founded by two Ukranian–Yevgen Sokolnikov and Oleksandr Danylenko–has raised around $1 million in FDI from an undisclosed Ukrainian private investment fund.
MoEngage: Marketing automation platform MoEngage has raised $9 million in its Series B round led by Matrix Partners and VentureEast. The California and Bengaluru-based startup’s existing investors Exfinity Ventures and Helion Venture Partners also participated in this round.
Instant Global Paytech: India’s first stock exchange listed e-commerce firm Infibeam Avenues has invested $0.8 million in Instant Global Paytech, a Mumbai-based payments solution provider.
Guiddoo: Travel tech startup Guiddoo has raised around $0.8 million in its extended pre-Series A round from individual investors such as Singapore-based Rennie Ratadia Dubai-based Stephen Dmello and Angshuman Sarkar from India.
LearnApp: Zerodha has pumped $0.28 million in edtech startup LearnApp. The investment was done through Rainmatter, an incubator and investment fund run by the online stock brokerage firm.
Oyo: Oyo has raised $103.4 million strategic round from Grab, a Singapore-based cab hailing company.
BuildSupply: Tech-enabled property startup BuildSupply, has raised $3.5 million in a Series A round of funding led by investment firm Venture Highway.
OTO Capital: Car buying platform OTO Capital has raised a seed fund of $0.7 million led by incubator Venture Catalyst. Veteran angel investors, K Ganesh and Sameer Sawhney also participated.

Undisclosed deals this week

Sports consultant and organiser Tabono, medical consultation startup Any Time Doctor, and Fric Bergen did not disclose their financial details on funding.
