Lamborghini Huracan EVO launch

Lamborghini‘s current mass production V10 model Huracán has been around for four years and before the naturally aspirated powered supercar gets replaced totally, the Italian marque has revealed a facelift version of it. It’s called the Huracan EVO.
The Huracan EVO has itself worked on the exterior, interior and in the performance department from the current gen Huracan. Lamborghini has given the Huracan EVO a new front bumper including a front splitter with integrated wing design for better airflow. The air intakes at the front are larger and boast Lambo’s signature Y-shape.

The rear of the car has seen the biggest and eyegrabbing makeover in the update. It gets twin exhaust tips positioned higher just like in the Huracan Performante. The upper end of the rear section features an integrated, slotted spoiler for increased downforce. The signature taillamp shape remains the same though.
Other significant changes in the exterior design include a new wheel design and new side air intakes. Lambo has also introduced a new four-layer color shade called Arancio Xanto. Lightweight materials such as Carbon Forged Composites and Lamborghini’s patented Carbon Skin are available on request.

The cabin of the baby bull has also seen a big makeover and now features more connectivity and a redesigned dashboard. A new 8.4” HMI capacitive touchscreen, located in the centre console just above the start button, features multi-finger gesture control to control functions including seats, climate and the status of the LDVI system in real-time.
The infotainment system features Apple CarPlay, navigation system, web radio and video player. The intuitive interface allows voice commands and puts the driver in touch with Siri.

Coming to the heart of the Huracan EVO, it features the well-known naturally aspirated 5.2-liter V10 engine but now churns out 631 horspower and 600 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm. It is an increase of 29 hp compared to the outgoing V10 model.
With the increased power and more aerodynamic upgrades, the Huracan EVO does 0-100 km/h sprint in just 2.9 seconds. This is similar to the track-focused Huracan Performante model. The top speed of the car is claimed to be more than 325 km/h.
