Meet the founders of Raw Nature, Sangita Desai and Mohit Saxena, who in a world of naysayers founded their company at the age of 50. Their knowledge in aesthetics, essential oils and business management teamed with their love for nature made these two friends the perfect business partners for Raw Nature. Their idea was to create a brand which is natural, pure, safe and completely transparent. Bringing their idea into reality they developed an articulately designed range of products by captivating powers of ancient superfoods and natural ingredients hidden in oral folktales.

Graduating from American College of London, Sangita, did not ever think that she would spearhead her own essentials grooming brand. It all changed in 2005 when the horrific deluge hit the city of Mumbai drowning her entire workshop and her life’s work. From designing for the likes of Bipasha Basu, Sushma Reddy, Kavita Kharayat, Candice Pinto, Ujjwala Raut,etc, she made a 180 degree switch and joined her father’s essential oils business. She exponentially expanded the business and built herself an empire. Even though Sangita was born with 4.5 fingers less on her right hand, she persisted to be the best in her field.Her clientele soon comprised of esteemed companies such as Dabur, Reckitt Benckiser, ULL, Ranbaxy and Paras Chemicals. In 2017 she decided to take the plunge along with her friend, Mohit, giving birth to the animal cruelty free brand, Raw Nature.

Contrary to Sangita’s background in the creative sphere, Mohit is a Marketing aficionado. Having worked with companies like Eicher Goodearth, Infovision Solutions, Lintas, TBWA Anthem, he went on to found Snowball eRetail Services which was one of the first B2B2C e-commerce companies in India. He also co founded The Man Company which is a subscription commerce company for mens grooming products. Ensued to his past experiences with marketing, business and grooming he confounded Raw Nature.

They launched the brand with a mission to empower people by providing them with safe and natural products. Their desire was simple; to make the right choices for their bodies and their environment. Setting this in motion they developed products spanning 5 categories addressing grooming concerns for specific hair and skin conditions. They inculcated in their products the goodness of an array of unique superfoods such as Macadamia Oil, Cedarwood, Bamboo Charcoal, Acai Oil, Pepper Vanilla, Coffee Bean Oil and many more. Raw Nature,a vegan brand, is India’s first brand to have a below the belt range for men and women.

Resetting their life at 50, Sangita and Mohit have launched Raw Nature,a next generation vegan grooming essentials brand that delivers high performance and safety.
