Indian recruitment startup, Skilllenza secures $1 Million

Bangalore based VH Education Services Pvt Ltd, which works for Software as a Service marketplace Skilllenza, revealed today that it has now secured $1 Million in the pre-series A funding round from some of the investors.
The funding round was led by the Capital Education Catalysts Fund with the participation from the existing investors from the Tracxn Labs, Blume Ventures, CIO Angel Network, Hyderabad Angels, Keiretsu forum and lets’ Venture.
The company as of now has a plan to use the funds in creating some of the new modules for the assessment of software engineers and even expand into the Tier Two and three cities in India.
“We are working on credentialing students coming out of engineering colleges and creating a global repository of final year undergraduates. These verified and ranked profiles will help companies to hire talent quickly,” the statement said.
With the help of this round, the total funding secured by the company amounts to be approximately $2 Million, the statement revealed.
The startup which is founded by the Subhendu in the year 2014, it offers a platform for the skills based on hiring to companies such as the Yes Bank, Unilever, Amazon Web Services.
