Classplus Raises $1.6M funding from GREE Ventures

ClassPlus which is an education technology startup has now secured $1.6 Million in the funding round of pre-Series A led by the GREE Ventures and Times Internet. The round also saw contribution from the Netherland based Rising Star Funds and Japanese VC Spiral Ventures.
The startup as of now has a plan to use the funds to expand their product offerings, ramp up their leadership team and to scale up operations. The firms also plan to use on data science and will also enable the predictive analysis on their assessment scores.
With its mobile-first application, the startup also offers the private coaching institutes and its tutors to streamline their payment, content distribution, online assessments and communication with the help of an app. The platform also allows the tutors to assess the students and to even track their performances over the year-long curriculum.
The startup which has been launched in the month of January 2018, the company claims to have more than 1200 coaching centers across the more than 60 Indian cities as its prominent clients.
