Amanda Moss PR wins Global Brand Award

Entrepreneur and mother of six, Amanda Moss has won the Best New Creative PR Manager in the Global Brands Awards.
The prestigious event which sees industry professionals from around the world attend, was due to take place in Dubai at the end of the month but has been postponed until later in the year.
Amanda Moss, 48 already publishes a Lifestyle magazine in the UK with plans to launch in Cyprus and India later this year. She set up AmandamossPR following requests from her advertising clients to give them advice about helping them improve their business profiles to reach their target customers
Amanda said, ” I have a large following on social media and give a lot of talks at business events so I am always being asked to give advice. It was taking up so much of my time that I realised there was a gap in the market for my services and so I set up AmandamossPR.
It fits very well with the lifestyle brands I look after and the fashion and beauty events I run around the world. I have always been a big believer in loving the lifestyle you live and I practice what I preach and show business owners that through clever PR and marketing they can too.”
Amanda Moss started her career as a local and then national journalist, working on newspapers and magazines before going into television production. After being made redundant for the fourth time she decided to set up her own company having had no previous experience in being an entrepreneur. In the last 12 years she has won numerous awards and grown the business to organise Liverpool Fashion  Week, Manchester Fashion Week and various fringe fashion events including the Los Angeles Lifestyle Fashion Showcase and the up and coming Ayia Napa Lifestyle Fashion Showcase in Cyprus.
With no parental or family guidance and no business grants to support her launching her business, Amanda learned the ropes herself, saying “I knew that I wanted to work from home being a mum with lots of young children around me and working in the media is all I have ever known, so setting up a magazine was the perfect solution. I quickly discovered that many small businesses  haven’t a clue about running their own PR successfully and make the mistake of not giving themselves a pr budget, which is business suicide. There’s no point in having an amazing business and a fantastic website if no one knows about you.”
With over 45,000 followers on social media  and a robust track record in working in the media, Amanda Moss guarantees to make you famous.
She said, “That’s what PR is all about. There’s only one thing worse than being talked about and that is not being talked about. I will ensure you become memorable. “
On winning the award Amanda said, ” I was absolutely thrilled to be recognised by industry professional who have obviously followed my journey and success. I am incredible proud and delighted to have won and fuels my ambition to help even more businesses.”
