In view of the increasing outbreak of coronaviruses, the ICSC Board has deferred the exams of class X and XII. Earlier, the Central Government has also asked the CBSC to postpone the examinations conducted by it. The number of coronavirus infections in the country has increased to 172 on Thursday. A new case has come to light in Maharashtra and five in Chandigarh. The report of a 23-year-old woman in Chandigarh has come positive. She has recently returned from the UK.

168 trains to be canceled from tomorrow till 31st March

Railways have decided to stop 168 trains from March 20 to March 31 in view of shortage of passengers. As a precaution, pilgrimage also been stopped at Jammu’s Raghunath Temple and ISKCON Temple in Delhi. In Haridwar, Uttarakhand, the district administration has banned the entry of common people in the Ganga Aarti till 31 March. However, Aarti will be held regularly during this period. Meanwhile, 50 international and 34 domestic flights were canceled from Chennai Airport.

On Wednesday, the country saw the highest number of 28 cases in a single day. Three cases each occurred in Rajasthan and Karnataka, two each in Delhi and Uttar Pradesh, one each in Maharashtra, Haryana, Ladakh, Jammu and Kashmir and Tamil Nadu. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the nation at 8 pm tonight on this crisis.

Center asked to postpone examinations including CBSE by 31 March

In view of the situation, the Central Government has asked the CBSE to postpone all the exams conducted by it by 31 March. Secretary, Ministry of Human Resource Development Amit Khare said that the new date of JEE Main Examination will be announced on 31 March after reviewing the situation.

Telangana witnessed 8 cases on Wednesday
On Wednesday, 28 new cases were reported in 10 states and union territories in one day. This is the highest number of cases of infection reported in a day. Telangana recorded the highest number of 8 cases. Three cases each occurred in Rajasthan and Karnataka, two each in Delhi and Uttar Pradesh, one each in Maharashtra, Haryana, Ladakh, Jammu and Kashmir and Tamil Nadu. There have been 3 deaths from the infection so far.

Corona suspect commits suicide in Delhi

A suspect committed suicide at Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi on Wednesday. He had returned from Australia and airport officials had brought him to the hospital after complaining of a headache.

Through the PDS, those taking ration will be able to take six months of food grains together, 75 crore people of the country will get benefit.


786 people died in 24 hours
Coronavirus has spread to 173 countries. In the last 24 hours, 786 people have died due to this virus in the world. Italy has lost the most 475 people. This is the largest death toll from any infection in any country. No new cases of infection were reported in China on Wednesday. This was the first time since January. In Britain 104 people died on Wednesday on one single day. 15123 new cases of infection were reported. Currently 2 lakh 6 thousand 250 people worldwide are vulnerable to coronavirus.
