Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s first physical event in Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh, was postponed due to inclement weather, prompting his ally Jayant Chaudhary to mock the opposition Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP). Prime Minister Modi addressed a virtual gathering in place of the physical rally. Mr Chaudhary, a significant support base among the Jats and farmers in western Uttar Pradesh, claims that the BJP is unprepared to face the people after failing to deliver on their promises in the last two years.

“The Bijnor Municipal Corporation had before promised greater electricity and growth. If the Prime Minister had paid them a visit today, the people would have pressed him for answers. So, the weather became nasty for the BJP all of a sudden,” he remarked during a rally at Meerut Cantonment.

What Happened when PM cancelled the event

Mr Chaudhary had posted a screenshot of a weather app just after the BJP announced that the Prime Minister’s event would be cancelled. “The sun is beaming in Bijnor, but the weather in the BJP is gloomy!” Please read the post that follows this one.

The Chief Minister had already taken a dig at the Samajwadi Party, a whose candidate from Kairana, Nahid Hasan, had been detained under the Gangster Act last month and was later released.

There are a lot of pictures of Kangana Ranaut being taken. “She has been appointed as the ambassador for an industrial development project,” he said.

According to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s virtual speech today, “the river of progress” had dried up in Uttar Pradesh before 2017 because of the “dynastic mentality of phoney Samajwadi’s.”

The phrase “river of development” is interpreted as a reference to the flooding of the Ganga River, which occurs regularly in the region. One of the primary complaints of local farmers is that the government has failed to control the floods.PM

According to Prime Minister Modi, the Yogi Adityanath administration has worked to develop all areas of the state equally and without prejudice. First-round voting will take place on February 10 in the first phase.
