Money to be deposited in Jan Dhan account from tomorrow, know who benefits first

The Modi government had announced to put money in the bank accounts of the poor because of the Corona crisis. After the announcement of the lockdown across the country, the government will add 500 rupees every month to the Jan Dhan account of poor women, this help will be given for three months.

Money will be deposited in Jan Dhan accounts from tomorrow

Now the Indian Banks Association (IBA) has ordered all banks to start depositing 500 rupees every month from March 3 in the Jan Dhan account of women. This month, this amount will be deposited in the women’s account between April 3 and April 9.

The first installment of all accounts will come till 9 April

According to the Central Government’s order, an amount of Rs 500 will be given every month for three months in the Jan Dhan account of women, under the Prime Minister Garib Kalyan Yojana. According to the last digit of their account number, money will be deposited in the account holders’ account on different days, so that there is no disturbance.
According to the rule-

– Jan Dhan accounts whose last digit is 0 or 1, the money will be added to their account tomorrow i.e. on 3rd April

– Jan Dhan accounts whose last digit is 2 or 3 will be credited to the account on April 4

-The last digit of Jan Dhan accounts is 4 or 5, it will be credited into the account on April 7

– Jan Dhan accounts whose last digit is 6 or 7 will be credited on April 8

– Jan Dhan accounts whose last digit is 8 or 9 will be credited on April 9

Significantly, after the lockdown in the country, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman had said that Rs 500 will be added every month to the Jan Dhan accounts of poor women. 53 per cent of the total Jan Dhan accounts are in the names of women. In this way, about 200 million women will get direct benefits.
