In this context, Samir Gosavi, Assistant Vice President – Retail Business, CPG and Logistics, Infosys, said in Linkedin Post, ‘Infosys’s special aircraft flew relief from San Francisco to Bangalore to bring hundreds of employees and their families to Bangalore. .

People were trapped in America
However, Infosys did not comment on this. But sources said 206 people, including Infosys employees and their family members, have been brought back. One person said that these people were trapped in the United States due to the outbreak of the coronavirus and then postpone international flights when lockdown was implemented.

Among the people who were brought back, some employees of the company’s customers worked in the office and others went there for meetings or programs. The United States is the largest vertical for the Indian information technology industry. North America accounted for more than 60 percent of Infosys’ fourth-quarter business.
