PM launches Rs 1 Trillion Agri-Infra Fund, sends Rs 17,100 Cr to 85 Million farmers

Prime Minister Modi has propelled financing ease of Rs 1 trillion under the Agriculture Infrastructure Fund for agri-entrepreneurs, agri-tech players, startups, and farmer groups for post-harvest administration and feeding farm assets on this weekend.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also issued the sixth installment of Rs 17,100 crore to more than 85.5 million farmer-beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) plan.

PM Narendra Modi launched the new Agriculture Infrastructure Fund by digital video conferencing in light of the widespread of the Novel Coronavirus. Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar and other senior ministry administrators were also present at the event.

The Aatma Nirbhar Bharat campaign came after the boycott China and Chinese product movement due to the Galwan valley conflict. After the Galwan valley tensions, India moved to become self dependent and promoted the boycott China movement. The Narendra Modi led government banned 69 apps in order to support the movement. The movement pressurized IPL governing council to remove Chinese sponsors from IPL 2020. This lead to building a strong campaign named as Aatma Nirbhar Bharat.

In Aatma Nirbhar Bharat, prominent businesses were invited to execute their operations in India. The local businessman was also asked to manufacture products with Indian raw material and not to export anything from China. China’s trade policy is under review.

Not only is India boycotting China, America, and other prominent countries are following the movement. Recently Microsoft has revealed its plans to buy TikTok. America also imposed restrictions on Chinese flights and air services.
