Mumbai Local Trains Allows Only Women Passengers and Children are Restricted Over Covid-19

Railways have restricted women from carrying their children along with them in the Mumbai local trains. The decision was announced a second time as a large number of children were found traveling along with the women passengers in the local trains. This rule holds good for both Central Railway as well as Western Railway routes. The rule was approved by DRM Mumbai and Mumbai Central. In order to have an eye on this rule and to stop children from boarding the local trains, each entry gate will be deployed with a Railway Protection Force (RPF).
