After wrapping up a two-day trip to France, Prime Minister Narendra Modi left on Saturday for the United Arab Emirates. While there, he met with French President Emmanuel Macron and extensively discussed with him. He also received the Grand Cross of the Legion of decoration, the nation’s highest civilian and military decoration.

As they launched a 25-year roadmap to further their strategic alliance, India and France stated on Friday that they were looking into co-developing and co-producing critical military assets, especially for the benefit of allies.
