Reliance Consumer Products Limited (RCPL), the FMCG division of Reliance Retail Ventures Limited (RRVL), announced the launch of Campa Cricket, a novel beverage with a cricket theme, on Friday. Reliance Retail Ventures Limited’s fully owned subsidiary RCPL was founded.

To appeal to cricket fans nationwide, the business has launched a carbonated drink with lime flavour. “Campa Cricket has been specially formulated to provide hydration and rejuvenation, both on and off the pitch,” the business said.

“Campa Cricket wants to create a strong bond between the Campa brand and cricket, one of India’s greatest pastimes. Although the beverage is loaded with electrolytes to restore essential salts, it also offers bubbly lemony refreshment to cricket fans, whether they are cheering for their favourite players or going about their daily tasks, according to an RCPL representative.

The beverage is available in two different quantities from RCPL, with a 250 ml pack costing Rs 20 and a 500 ml pack costing Rs 30. Several states, including Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Gujarat, Maharashtra, West Bengal, and Uttar Pradesh, are scheduled to debut the beverage.

“The launch of Campa Cricket is a testament to RCPL’s objective of providing Indian consumers with a wide selection of creative, high-quality items at attractive pricing points. With this introduction, RCPL expands the variety of beverages it offers, which already includes products from Campa, Raskik, and Sosyo Hajoori, according to the firm.

Daily necessities are currently included in RCPL’s FMCG portfolio under the Independence brand, confections from Lotus Chocolates and Toffeeman, Maliban, Sri Lanka’s top biscuit brand, Alan’s Bugles corn chips, and a variety of home and personal care items under the Dozo, Enzo, and Get Real brands.

Through its new commerce strategy, RRVL has worked with more than 3 million merchants while operating an integrated omni-channel network of 18,500 outlets and digital commerce platforms in the supermarket, consumer electronics, fashion & lifestyle, and pharmaceutical consumption baskets. The RRVL recorded a consolidated revenue of Rs 260,364 crore and a net profit of Rs 9,181 crore for the fiscal year that ended on March 31, 2023.
