In August 2022, Honda Motorcycle and Three Wheelers (HMSI) reported considerable growth. August was a busy month for the two-wheeler manufacturer thanks to the debut of the CB300F bare street motorcycle in India for Rs. 2.26 lakh (ex-showroom).At a base price of Rs 78,878, ex-showroom, the redesigned 2022 Honda Shine Celebrations Limited has been introduced in India.

It is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission.
Drum/disc brakes are used for the front brakes, and drum and CBS brakes are used for the rear brakes.

Atsushi Ogata, General Manager, President, and CEO, of Honda Motorbike & Scooter India, commented on the increasing market trend, saying, “Market performance is gaining consistent momentum over a preceding month as well as a year-on-year basis.
With a record of 1,63,357 unit sales compared to 1,09,678 units sold, Activa led the pack. It was also India’s second most popular two-wheeler, after Hero’s Splendor. The CB Shine commuting motorcycle made a strong impression last month when it sold 1,05,413 units compared to 79,416 units over the same period in 2021, representing a YoY volume increase of 33%.
The Dio scooter reported sales of 16,033 units last month compared to 17,269 pieces in April 2021, with YoY volume growth being negative by 7%. The Dream achieved YoY positive revenue growth of 152 percent to place fourth with 13,844 copies in April 2022 compared to 5,502 units in the same period last year.

With a total domestic tally of 3,18,734 units compared to 2,40,122 units during the same period the previous year, Honda 2W India maintained to rank second in the overall two-wheeler manufacturers’ rankings behind Hero MotoCorp. With 763 units sold as opposed to 153, the X-Blade came in seventh, a significant increase of 399 percent.
The Hornet 2.0 only could achieve 584 units against 186 pieces with a growth of 214%, while the Livo commuter only managed 660 details last month versus 3,707 pieces with a YoY decline of 82%.
The high-end CBR650F got 33 units versus 27 pieces in April 2021, with a rise of 22%, while the CB200X came in at number 10 with 258 units. The adventure tourers Africa Twin & CB500X scored 20 and 1 unit, respectively.
