In August 2022, Honda Motorcycle and Three Wheelers (HMSI) reported considerable growth. With a record of 1,63,357 unit sales compared to 1,09,678 units sold, Activa led the pack. It was also India’s second most popular two-wheeler, after Hero’s Splendor. The CB Shine commuting motorcycle made a strong impression last month when it sold 1,05,413 units compared to 79,416 units over the same period in 2021, representing a YoY volume increase of 33%.

The Dio scooter reported sales of 16,033 units last month compared to 17,269 pieces in April 2021, with YoY volume growth being negative by 7%. The Dream achieved YoY positive revenue growth of 152 percent to place fourth with 13,844 copies in April 2022 compared to 5,502 units in the same period last year.
