An Overview Of Modi’s 20+ Years In Public Life

An Overview Of Modi’s 20+ Years In Public Life

As Gujarat’s Chief Minister for the first time in 2001, Narendra Modi was elected as Prime Minister in 2014 and re-elected as Prime Minister in 2019. An upcoming book, Modi @ 20: Dreams Meet Delivery, describes PM Modi’s 20 years in public life.

Twenty-two well-known people write about their experiences in the book, from fields such as politics, medicine, the economy, sports, and acting. PM Modi’s long-time ally, Amit Shah, makes a valuable contribution to the effort.

He discusses the implementation and interpretation of his vision throughout 21 chapters divided into five sections. The commitment and service of Narendra Modi to the nation of India speak for themselves. Initially, his detractors and opponents ridiculed his policies because they believed he couldn’t implement them.

The book’s first section discusses his plans for the common welfare. Through the extension of the Gareeb Kalyan Yojana for three months, he ensured food security for 80 crore citizens.

The book discusses the decision’s political, cultural, and financial impacts in the second section. Fourth, governance is concerned, and fifth, India’s global image. Technology links all the areas together. Technology has long been a passion of PM Modi.

His founding of BISAG-N (Bhaskaracharya National Institute for Space Applications and Geoinformatics) used satellite remote sensing technology and GIS mapping to solve water issues while he was the CM.

With the National Payments Corporation of India’s UPI, he helped India become a digital leader by allowing real-time payments to be made instantly.

To commemorate Mahatma Gandhi’s 150th birth anniversary, the mission aims to build over 100 million toilets in rural India by October 2, 2019. It has been reported that over 1,90,000 toilets have been made in Himachal Pradesh alone under this initiative.

The lack of toilets wasn’t a big deal for the women of the family, but it was humiliating and unsafe for them to defecate in open fields. This is a significant achievement for both rural women’s safety and respect.

In the conversation, we discussed the various schemes launched by PM Modi. Most of the projects were designed with everyone in mind. There is no doubt that ‘daughters are precious’ is the mantra of PM, and it is not just a catchphrase.

On Independence Day 2014, he spoke about the safety of our daughters. The empowerment and development of women have been a significant focus.

As a result of the historic abrogation of Articles 370 and 35A from Jammu and Kashmir, enforced laws protecting women’s welfare and rights throughout the country.

Both Houses of Parliament are also passing a law that protects the rights of Muslim women married to non-Muslims PM Modi. By 2021, the dropout rate at schools will be 7%, down from 20% in 2008 and 13% in 2018.

All these things may have seemed ordinary at first to many people, but they have affected the lives of millions of citizens. Our appreciation and applause for the remarkable growth over the last eight years are well deserved.

During his time as Chief Minister of Gujarat, he organized the ‘Vibrant Gujarat’ global investors summit to promote investment in the state. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has effectively fulfilled his duty to make the world realize India is a superpower during his eight years in office.

He has been relentless in achieving his goal of making India the world’s fifth-largest economy. Compared with 2015, India is now ranked 63rd in the ‘Ease of Doing Business index.

Modi professionally handled the Covid-19 pandemic by working closely with experts. Earlier last year, atmanirbhar, or self-sufficiency, became a reality when India launched two vaccines and vaccinated over 95 crore people.

In addition to his other achievements, PM Modi recently launched a CDRI (Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure) – an organization headquartered in New Delhi.

It collaborates with national governments, UN agencies, multilateral development banks, financing mechanisms, and the private sector to ensure sustainable development by strengthening the resilience of existing and new infrastructure.

He became an international example in redeveloping the Kutch region while he was Gujarat’s CM. Through an interview with RSS worker Jayanti Bhadesia, I found out years later that PM Modi helped with relief work during the Machchhu Dam failure on August 11, 1979.

During that time, we were in opposition, and he applied brilliant strategies to help us form the first government for the first time in 1998.

He encouraged us to develop new ideas and plans to further our protests and campaigns against the ruling party. At that time, social media didn’t exist, so he had creative ideas for spreading our message among people.

We were beyond delighted as we celebrated Himachal Pradesh’s 8th anniversary of its formation in May. People held this ‘chalta hai’ (let it be) attitude, which gradually evolved into ‘badal sakta hai’ (changeable) after Narendra Modi became Prime Minister.

The new era of growth and development that he is ushering in is one of growth and development for our country. In the eyes of the country’s young people, Narendra Modi is an icon.

In addition, he launched the Khelo India mission, which aims to improve Indian sports culture at the grassroots level by identifying talent, organizing competitions, and developing infrastructure.

The late Congress prime minister Rajiv Gandhi once said that we send 100 rupees from Delhi, but only 15 rupees reach the beneficiary.

The money directly reaches bank accounts through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), which was introduced by Prime Minister Modi, the only Prime Minister in Indian history who handled this issue efficiently. A developing country should study and emulate this vision.
