‘GHAR GHAR RATION YOJANA’: CM Arvind Kejriwal

According to some reports it has been discovered that two-third of India’s population is under the category of poverty. The people under this category are obviously deprived of adequate ration. The country where the constitution is a devotee of majorities then how is this majority section of people are suffering from ignorance?

Somehow with natural development and evolvement, these people did get some attention, and their need to ration got some light. The country claims to be very generous by nature and prove so ration card plan was introduced. This card would enable the needy to get ration at a subsidized rate. But it is rightly believed that every coin has two sides. So with the pro of availability of ration at subsidized rates came cons like poor quality of ration, late openings of shops and no one can unsee the huge lines for the same.

Arvind Kejriwal, Chief Minister of Delhi claims that the capital has improved its condition of ration distributions in the past few years. Today he declared the scheme of “Mukhyamantri Ghar Ghar Ration Yojana“.

He believes that this doorstep ration delivery scheme will ease the stress of ration shopping to a good extent. He explains how the yojana will be working. The ration will be collected from the godowns of FCI and further, it will be cleanly packed in sack bags and delivered to the needy’s doorstep. He claimed Delhi government’s this decision to be a revolutionary move and said that the people who receive ration from PDS shops i.e. Public Distribution System shops will be able to enjoy the food items delivery at their doorsteps. He quoted words were “under the scheme, wheat, flour, rice, and sugar will be packed hygienically in bags and will be delivered to the doorstep of the people. Taking ration from the PDS shop will be completely optional.”

Mr. Kejriwal disclosed his and his party’s dream that the poor get ration with respect. This efficient step towards fulfilling the dream will out within he nest six to seven months.

The Chief Minister also said that Centre’s scheme of “One Nation One Ration Card” will be implemented on the same day when “Mukhyamanti Ghar Ghar Ration Yojana” will be implemented in the national capital.

It is believed that this scheme will be proven beneficial to lakhs of people in Delhi through 2016 PDS shops. Currently, the subsidized ration is given under the National Security Act of 2013 and this new scheme would be added to the benefits of the act.
