Car Wash Startup CleanseCar Raises ₹3.5 crore Angel Funding

CleanseCar, a Bangalore-based daily car washing startup has now secured Rs 3.5 crore in an angel funding round from Venture Catalysts. The angel investors who participated in the round are Anil Patel, Rishabh Mahimtura, Omphalos Venture India, and Vishal Brambhatt.
The fresh funds are going to be used for accelerating growth, as the company is planning to expand its services to other cities. The startup was founded by the Pratibha Shalini and KalyandarVinukonda in 2017.
It provides quality end-to-end car cleaning services to its customers at their doorsteps and that too at a reasonable price. The startup provides waterless and environment-friendly car wash which customers can avail with the help of its mobile app. This makes the service flexible.
The startup is, as of now, operational in Chennai and Bangalore, but they are planning to roll out their services in some other South Indian cities by the end of the next year.
Elaborating more about the investment, Apoorv Ranjan Sharma, Co-founder, and President, Venture Catalysts said, “Daily car wash is one of the basic requirements of consumers in urban areas and this service is not always easy, affordable or reliable. CleanseCar is disrupting this high-potential segment by introducing standardization and the use of technology.”
