According to RMI, “The main objective of the workshop was to give the participants an insight to understanding a city’s mobility ecosystem. It was also aimed to develop a portfolio of studies and pilot projects for the city.” Each year, countless man-hours and revenues are spent on commuting, and to tackle this, NITI Aayog and Rocky Mountain Institute selected Pune in Maharashtra as India’s First Lighthouse City in June to find urban mobility solutions.
