NASA Warning: An Asteroid Larger Than A Boeing 747 Jet Will Hit Earth’s Orbit On October 7, Stay Alert!

NASA’s Centre for Near-Earth Object Studies warned that an asteroid larger than a Boeing 747 jet will collide with Earth’s orbit on October 7, 2020. The asteroid named 2020 RK2 is currently in a collision with the Earth’s orbit and is being closely monitored by NASA.

The asteroid will rush through space at a speed of 6.68 kilometers per second, which is equivalent to 14,942 miles per hour, and its diameter is estimated from 36 to 81 meters, and its width is approximately 118-256 feet. However, NASA has been working hard to track asteroids and updating the latest information on its official Twitter account.

What Is The Expected Volume Of The Arriving Space Rocks?

There are many space rocks in the Milky Way, and some rocks revolve around the sun. However, some orbits revolve around planets like Mars and Jupiter. Astronomers claim that many space rocks formed about 4.6 billion years ago.

To get a clear idea about this space rock size which is expected similar to the wings of a Boeing-747 8 series aircraft; NASA declared the space rock may have a larger wingspan than a Boeing 747 8 series aircraft. The width of this aircraft is almost 68.5m, so it is larger.

However, there is no cause for concern as NASA has revealed that the probability of actual damage is highly unlikely. However, despite approaching the Earth’s orbit, astronomers are unlikely to see it from the earth.

An asteroid named 2020 RR2 also passed the Earth before the 2020 RK2 space rock. It is nearly 26 meters in diameter and crossed the earth at a distance of 6.2 million kilometers.

On 24th September, the same space rock moved to Earth’s orbit within two weeks. It flew over the earth at a distance of 13,000 miles above the ground.

NASA scientists also claimed that they discovered space rocks last month. This asteroid is classified as “Apollo Asteroid and NASA astrologers had first discovered space rocks last month.

It was discovered by astrologers last month that this is an Apollo asteroid that flies safely over the earth and will cross the orbit of the earth.

Even if the asteroid will approach the orbit of the earth, astronomers will not be able to see it from the earth. The Space Rock will glide over at 1.12 pm Eastern Standard Time or 6.12 pm British Summer Time. The space rock will pass through the earth at a distance of 38,27,798 kilometers.

Once space rock passes the Earth planet safely, it will not visit our orbit again until August 2027. The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) estimates that dozens of asteroids fly “close” to Earth each year. However, most of them are much smaller than 2020 RK2 and rarely touch the earth’s orbit. A large number of space rocks just flew by without being discovered.

The asteroid officially known as 2020 SX3 is also heading towards Earth. According to NASA, the asteroid is between 38 and 86 meters wide-about the size of three double-decker buses.
