Khan Drug Case: BJP’s New Strategy to Maharashtra 2024 Elections?

The arrest of Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan in a drug case has shaken not only the Bollywood business but even the political cartel. Aryan Khan, the son of King khan Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan, has been placed in custody for the case of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) until October 7 in connection with the seizure of illegal substances which during a rave party happened.

After the Advocate Ali Kaashif Khan Deshmukh and Amit Desai, the senior counsel finished their arguments on Wednesday that is 27th October, the Bombay High Court deferred the bail hearing of Aryan Khan, the son of Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan, by connection with the alleged seizure of drugs on a cruise ship until Thursday. The Bombay High Court said that will continue to hear Aryan Khan’s bail application in view of the cruise ship drug cruise case, which was submitted by his father, Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan.

Desai, who was representing Arbaaz, argued that the Narcotics Control Bureau’s allegations of conspiracy were unfounded (NCB). “If three unrelated people come for the same goal, that is not a conspiracy,” he told Justice Nitin W Sambre’s single-judge bench. Yesterday, Justice Nitin Sambre heard the arguments on behalf of Aryan Khan from Senior Advocate and former Attorney General of India Mukul Rohatgi. He reaffirmed that his arguments in the case of Aryan khan, which claimed that the WhatsApp conversations had totally nothing to do with the Mumbai cruise.

Political Cartel line is there !

When actor Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan was arrested in connection with a narcotics search on a cruise ship, then NCP leader Nawab Malik told that the NCB utilized the services of  2 private people, which is one with BJP ties and the other with a criminal record.

So, who are these unaffiliated witnesses in this contentious of this case? I think here, The usual suspects are involved. Is there a link between the state and the underworld here?

The argument is that the NCB has not been gilded by so-called “drug busts” in recent years and that the NCB is now desperately seeking to clear its name of charges of functioning as a “propaganda arm” of the establishment.

It is quite alleged that an agency tasked with combating drug that trafficking and the use of some kind of illegal substances under the provisions of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act is now engaging and encouraging thugs, conmen, and BJP party men to mount investigations that are read motivated investigations which into Bollywood actors who may or may not be personally consuming drugs.

Is NCB chasing Bollywood like before Sushan singh and now Aryan khan?

Since last year, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has summoned a number of Bollywood celebrities in connection with drug possession or consumption, after Sushant Singh Rajput’s tragic death.

It’s too early to remark on this because of the way NCB claimed to have evidence of a narcotics connection in actor Sushant Singh Rajput‘s case, then summoned Bollywood stars Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, Arjun Rampal, and Rakul Preet Singh for questioning. What was the final outcome? Nobody is aware.

It all started when Rajput’s reported lover Rhea Chakraborty was arrested. Since then, the left ecosystem has inundated numerous type of media and social media platforms, labeling it the center’s hit job on Bollywood, portraying those arrested in drug cases as innocent.

The NCB, on the other hand, busted a drug plant in South Mumbai in January this year, allegedly controlled by mobster Dawood Ibrahim’s assistant Chinku Pathan.

Drugs worth cash, and weaponry reserves were confiscated by the department from a factory in Dongri, which was formerly the bastion of Dawood and his cronies.

What are the penalties for drug consummation?

The principal regular charges leveled against Aryan Khan fall under the NDPS Act, which stipulates penalties for narcotics possession, consumption, and selling.

The penalties for drug-related crimes are dependent. It depends on the amount of some quantity involved in committing the crime. In the instance of Aryan Khan, the NCB has yet to comment on the recovery of drugs from his possession. However, it was claimed that his ‘buddy’ Arbaaz Merchant was carrying 5 grams of charas in his shoes, which was then identified by the NCB team who carried out the operation.

A “small quantity” for charas is defined as anything less than 100 grams. The NDPS Act makes small-scale possession and sale of charas and other drugs such as heroin, cocaine, opium, and morphine criminal by up to one year of “rigorous imprisonment” or a fine of up to Rs 10,000, or both.

In the case of cocaine, morphine, or heroin, the penalty is “rigorous incarceration” for up to one year or a fine of up to Rs 20,000, or both. Other narcotics, such as charas, have a penalty of up to six months in prison or a fine of up to Rs 10,000, or both.

According to the NCB, Aryan Khan has been using drugs for more than four years. According to the NCB, Aryan Khan admitted to using drugs in the past.

“There is nothing on record to recommend that Aryan Khan is in any way associated with the production, manufacture, possession, sale, purchase, transport, import, export or use of any psychotropic substance, or harboring of offenders in relation to any narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances, and thus the ingredients of any offence under the NDPS Act, 1985 are not prima facie made out in respect of Khan,” the bail plea says.

The NDPS Act, however, grants Aryan exemption from prosecution if he is classed as an addict.

According to the law, “addicts who volunteer for treatment are immune from punishment.” If the addict does not finish treatment, his or her immunity may be revoked.

So, totally everyone can see that the BJP is pushing the NCB not to crack like any drug nexuses or even to ensure that drugs are eradicated from the face of the country, but rather to make some kind of mockery of their KRAs by arresting many young or somehow related people and then harassing them to no end without any kind of collaborative evidence of particular drug usage, after all, it’s showing that it is the politician who is doing this.
