PM Modi Initiates Rs 6100 Crore Infrastructure Projects in Telangana with Foundation Stone Laying

Despite a boycott by the ruling BRS party, the Prime Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for various infrastructure development projects with an estimated value of approximately Rs 6,100 crore. These projects are aimed at boosting the overall development and growth of Telangana, showcasing the government’s commitment to improving infrastructure and creating opportunities for the state.

During the event, several prominent leaders were in attendance, including Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan, Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari, Union Tourism Minister and newly-appointed president of BJP in Telangana G Kishan Reddy, and BJP MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar.

Before attending the infrastructure development event, Prime Minister Modi visited the renowned Goddess Bhadrakali temple in Warangal. This temple holds historical significance as it was located in the former capital of the Kakatiya kingdom, emphasizing the cultural and heritage aspects of the visit.
However, the ruling BRS party in Telangana boycotted the Prime Minister’s visit, accusing the NDA government of being “anti-Telangana” over the past nine years. Despite this, the foundation stone laying ceremony and other events proceeded as planned, highlighting the commitment of the central government to the development of Telangana.
