1.What is the Name of Your Venture? Any specific reason for this name?The Venture is named as Mint Evolution. The combination of two words “Mint” and “Evolution” symbolizes the freshness and gradual development with latest trends in our solutions. The “Mint” herb has a unique flavor for all seasons. Likewise, our solutions ensure adaptability across the seasons with the same freshness. The word evolution refers to “gradual development”. Here, at Mint Evolution, we aim to revolutionize the industry by implementing solutions and inspiring people to create sustainable society and sustainable world with the use of latest technology and trends.
2.Who is your target Audience/clients?
Everyone. Each and every individual.
3.Where is your venture based (city, state, country) & What are your geographical target areas?
The venture is currently based out in Delhi/ NCR and our target currently is to spread ourselves across India.
4.What problems does your venture resolve? What are your products or services?
There are three basic problems that we are trying to cater. Level one is at the farmer level- Our products are majorly made up of bamboo which consumes less water. Level two is protection against diseases as our products are anti UV, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and skin friendly. At level three we are trying to protect our very own mother nature as all our products are bio degradable.
Our product line majorly includes: Socks, T- shirts, Herbal Engine Oil and Medicines.
5.Share the idea or story behind the venture. How did it come to an existence? What motivated you to start your own venture?
Mint evolution was founded in 2014 to use business as an inspiration and solution to environmental crisis. The thought behind our idea was the complete satisfaction of the customer, company and society.
Mint Evolution adheres to the simple philosophy of serving humanity to achieve growth and development. We believe in innovations leading to a sustainable society and world.”
My aim was to do something different that will help the society as a whole. Thus, I started analyzing daily needs problem and my plan is to provide a sustainable solution to that.
6.Who are your biggest competitors and how do you differentiate yourself from them?
Herbal Life, Amway and vestige are some of my biggest competitors. Our product segmentation is a bit different. We are aiming towards a sustainable world by proving organic solutions, which are less harmful for humans as well as the environment.
7. How did you identify your co-founder? Tell us something about your co-founder/s
My co-founder Mrs. Maryam Khan and I started our journey from ground level. We have a strong belief in network marketing and our passion to give back to the society made him the Managing Director. She is a girl from a small town who got transformed as the chairperson of the company setting benchmark in sustainable lifestyles products. Her passion and her dedication towards it helped her way out.
8.How did you hired your first team members? What skills Do you want in your employees/team?
I always prefer hiring people who know what I do not know!! This will bring more expertise in my team. Along with this a burning passion should be there to achieve.
9.What expansion plans are you looking for the next 2 years, next 5 years?
We have plan to expand the business online and get our franchise store open in next 2 years and also probably within next 5 years, we will go international.
10.Where do you want to see yourself in next 10 years?
A part of top ten companies in the world in direct selling business and as one of the top 5 in organic clothing.
11.What are your goals over the next 1, 3, 6 and 12 months?
Currently, we are focused on our company’s launch which is planned in the month of June. We will also introduce our entire product line at the launch.
12.Have you raised any funding? Or have any plans for the funding?
Not yet but will plan soon on this.
13.What were the problems you faced during the starting days and how did you resolve them?
In the initial days, the entire capital got wiped of 4 times but still I kept trying. Finally, failures fail to hit my dedication. My constant efforts bought me here.
14.What was the most challenging part of your journey till now? How did you overcome those challenges?
The most difficult part was to understand whom to trust as already the initial decisions went wrong and proved fatal for the business. I continued following my dream and ignored the world. The only key was to move on.

In my non- work time, I prefer playing with my kid daughters.

I like eating Biryani and my favorite holiday destination is Dubai
18.Whom do you consider your idol or biggest motivator?
There are many. But first & foremost is my father and also to name some more, It would be steve jobs and jack ma.
19.What do you feel is the major difference between entrepreneurs and those who work for someone else?
Those who work for someone i.e. an employee always have a backup for something which went wrong. The sense of responsibility is less. In case of an entrepreneurs, if anything goes wrong he himself is answerable and responsible for the people’s dissatisfaction and business loss. The risk taking ability is the major difference.
20.If you had the chance to start your career over again, what would you do differently?
I am already doing what I wanted.
21.How has being an entrepreneur affected your family & Social life?
When you do not have time for your family you expect them to support and understand. I feel lucky that my family understood the position I am currently in and what I am aiming at and provided constant support even when the social and family life didn’t exist. Turning the dream into reality is the only thing going in my head and I am searching the best possible ways to make it happen.

Distrust and fear. The ideal work environment does not exist.

No. There is a long way to go!! I am not in a position to answer this question currently.
