2542 cases of corona till now in India: World Bank has released 7600 crores for India. Emergency Fund approved, will help create screening and isolation wards

In the fight against Coronavirus, the World Bank has approved emergency assistance of 1 billion dollars (about 7600 crores) to India. This fund will help in better screening, contact tracing and diagnostics of COVID-19 patients. There will also be facilities for purchasing protective equipment and building isolation wards. The number of corona infected in the country has increased to 2542. Of these, 191 people have been cured, while 72 have lost their lives. These figures are according to the website covid19india.org. According to the website of the Union Ministry of Health, the number of corona infected in the country is 2069. Out of these, the treatment of 1860 is being done. 155 have been cured and 53 people have died. 

The Health Ministry said on Thursday – after investigating contacts in different states, we have found 400 such infected people who belong to the center of Nizamuddin Markaz and Tablighi Jamaat. The Ministry of Home Affairs has blacklisted 906 foreigners who have joined the Tablighi Jamaat. Their visa has also been revoked. Action will be taken against these people under the Foreigners Act 1946 and the Disaster Management Act 2005. The Home Ministry has asked Delhi and other states to take legal action against these foreigners.

People associated with the Jamaat have spread across the country

Joint Secretary of Health Department, Luv Agarwal said on Thursday – Tamil Nadu has reported the highest number of 173 cases related to Markaz. 67 have been found in Andhra Pradesh, 47 in Delhi, 33 in Telangana, 22 in Kashmir, 16 in Assam, 11 in Rajasthan, 9 in Andaman-Nicobar and 2 in Puducherry. Additional testing is currently being done and the cases are expected to increase. Here, on Thursday, Corona also knocked in Arunachal Pradesh. Here the first outbreak of infection occurred. Now the infection has spread to 26 states and four union territories of the country. 

Staff is threatened by hospitalized deposits

Deposits drawn from Nizamuddin Markaz of Delhi are constantly facing allegations of misconduct. Director of Delhi’s Lok Nayak Jayaprakash Narayan Hospital, Dr. Jessie Pasay has told that 188 people involved in Tablighi Jamaat are admitted to him. Of these, 24 have been reported and 23 confirmed corona infections. Many Jamati is refusing to undergo the test. The staff was in danger from them. In such a situation, police have been deployed in the three blocks in which the deposits are kept.

Maharashtra; Total infected – 423: Corona infection appears to be uncontrollable in the worst affected Maharashtra. In the last 24 hours, 6 people died due to infection in the state. Five of them died in Mumbai and one in Palghar. The dead were aged between 50 and 84 years. There were three women and two men among them. With this, the figure of those who lost their lives in the state reached 16. At the same time, two reports in Pune and one in Buldhana came positive on Thursday morning. Seeing the situation worsening, 30 government hospitals have been declared as Corona Hospitals. After this, a capacity of 2305 beds has been made available to treat the infected.

Madhya Pradesh; Total infected – 113: Four people in Bhopal were found corona positive on Thursday. One is a resident of Ivory Coast, two in Myanmar and one in Odisha. All of them had joined Markaj. After the four cases came up, the area of ​​one kilometer around the mosque located on Aishbagh and Shyamala Hills has been declared as a Containment Zone. Nearby 50 homes will be screened. Here, 89 persons have been found infected in Indore, 8 in Jabalpur, 6 in Ujjain, 2-2 in Shivpuri, Gwalior, and Morena and 1-1 in Khargone and Chhindwara. Two more deaths occurred on Thursday in Indore. A 65-year-old woman died here. A 54-year-old man later died at MY Hospital. With this, the death toll in the state has increased to eight. Indore has the highest number of infections. 82 cases were found here, of which the source of infection has not been ascertained.

Rajasthan; Total infected- 133: On Thursday, 13 new positive cases were reported in the state. A 16-year-old child was found infected in Udaipur. 7 cases were found in Jaipur, 2 in Jodhpur, one each in Bharatpur, Dholpur, and Jhunjhunu. According to the Health Department, the seven infected positives found in Jaipur had come in the close contact of a person found positive. The person has infected 17 people. The person found infected in Jhunjhunu had joined the Tablighi Jamaat of Nizamuddin. At the same time, an 85-year-old man admitted to Alwar died in SMS Hospital.

Uttar Pradesh; Total infected- 121: 18 new cases of infection have been reported in 24 hours. Police have also traced 569 people who joined the Tablighi Jamaat of Delhi. Two people committed suicide in an atmosphere of fear caused by a coronavirus in the state. DM of Shamli district Jasjeet Kaur said that a person took suicide in the quarantine ward of the hospital here. He had signs of corona infection. His investigation report is awaited. Meanwhile, Saharanpur SP Dinesh Kumar P told that a government employee hanged himself in Nakur police station. He cited the reason for the fear of coronavirus in the suicide note.

Delhi; Total infected – 293: 108 out of total cases in Delhi are related to Tablighi Jamaat and Markaz. Of the total 4 deaths in Delhi, two are linked to Markaz. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said on Thursday that 2 thousand 346 people were evacuated from Markaj. Out of this, 1 thousand 810 people were kept in quarantine, while 536 have been admitted to hospitals. As a precaution, corona tests of all people have been done. In such a situation, the number of infected can increase in the coming days. Kejriwal announced to give 5 thousand rupees to all auto-rickshaws, RTVs and rural service drivers in Delhi. It will be implemented in the next 10 days.

Karnataka; Total Infected- 124: Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa said on Thursday that 391 people from the state who have gone to Markaz in Delhi have been traced. He said that the reports of 11 people who were investigated in Bidar have come out positive. For this reason, the number of infected people has increased rapidly.

Andra Pradesh; Total infected 149:  29 new cases were reported here on Thursday. On Wednesday, 57 new patients were found. Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy has ordered the postponement of salaries of government employees for the time being because of the epidemic and lockdown. The salaries of ministerial legislators and public representatives have also been withheld. However, pensioners are being paid house to house.

Telangana; Total infected- 154: 5 new cases of infection were reported in the state on Thursday.  On Wednesday, 30 new cases of corona infection were reported, while 3 died. The death toll in the state has gone up to 9. All those who died had returned to Delhi taking part in the Tablighi Jamaat. Chief Minister’s office gave this information. Hyderabad has the highest number of 36 infected here.

Assam; Total infected- 16: 3 new corona patients were found in the state on Thursday. They hail from Golaghat in eastern Assam. All of them returned from the Nizamuddin community.

Kerala; Total infected – 286:  Kerala is second only to Maharashtra in terms of several infected. Kasargod has the highest number of 121 infected in the state. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has said that a deliberate campaign is being carried out on social media to target those involved in Markaj’s group in Delhi. If anyone tries to create religious segregation during this epidemic, strict action will be taken against him. On the other hand, the Kerala High Court has stayed the order of the state government, which had given the provision of giving liquor to the addicts on presenting the doctor’s form. This restriction has been imposed for three weeks. 

  Odisha; Total infected – 5: Two hospitals have been set up in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack just for the corona. They will be treated free of cost. Both hospitals have a total of 650 beds. The hospital at Bhubaneswar has been built at the Kalinga Institute of Medical Science. Its CEO Dr. Vishnu said that these hospitals have the facility to keep the corona infection suspects, infected and serious patients separately. Arrangements for doctors and nursing staff have also been made in the hospital. They will stay here for 14 days after treatment.
