Demolishing The World Of Misinformation Is The Goal Of Scoop Beats And ASTNT Technologies Pvt. Ltd.

As per a report by Statista, the overall number of internet users in India has grown to 50% of the nation’s population. Now, India ranks second in terms of internet user base right after China. This revolution of digitalization in India was not present a few years ago as only 27% of the populace in India had access to the internet five years ago. The rapid growth in internet penetration in India was possible due to the introduction of cheap and affordable mobile data to all. This helped in several ways in the times of the pandemic last year. People were getting the right information at the right time despite being confined to their homes.

While from one perspective, internet penetration figures look encouraging, on the other, it brings a basic test—the spread of misinformation through social media. The coronavirus emergency has made this vulnerability profoundly noticeable, with various bits of misinformation identified with coronavirus flowing through social media. However, there were some online digital media and news sites that we’re tackling this spread of misinformation. One such site was Scoop Beats.
Scoop Beats was founded by a young entrepreneur named Divya, who is also famous in the YouTube community as the ‘Tech Girl’ because of her love for technology. The website began as a Facebook page that she managed with one of her co-founders. The website aimed to diminish the gap between the people and the world. This was made possible by the instant delivery of information from throughout the world. While doing so, the emphasis was on maintaining the quality and the reliability of the data. This is something that a few similar yet well-known sites such as The Quint have failed.
The Quint is a news and media site that has been receiving backlash from the people for their anti-India propaganda. The information that they have delivered in the past was found to be not only inaccurate but also hurtful. The people at the site somehow seem to be in the favor of whoever is on their side. They have questioned the surgical strikes, intent of the RSS, and several other incidents that benefitted India.
On the other hand, Scoop Beats has always delivered the right information at the right time. It has always stood on the side of truth and justice. It is something that most media and journalists have forgotten about. When the suicide of Sushant Singh Rajput was hitting headlines, The Scoop Beats was accused of spreading false information through their site. But all they were doing was providing to the public the facts as per the ongoing police investigation. Surely, an increase in the audience is a goal set by them, however, The Scoop Beats doesn’t wish to achieve it by spreading misinformation of any kind.
Recently, the founder of Scoop Beats had ventured into a new project called the ‘Scoop Beats Private Limited’ alongside Akhilendra who is another renowned young entrepreneur and founder of ASTNT Technologies Private Limited. The new company is a subsidiary of Scoop Beats and will work in the field of news and digital media while employing the youth of Jammu and Kashmir. Thus, in all aspects, it can rightly be said that Scoop Beats leaves some of the popular sites such as The Quint far behind in terms of reliability and accuracy of the information being delivered to the public.
