Apple AR Glasses are coming out in 2022 – but this is the last of a long series of posited windows. The tech giant is reportedly developing products to provide a better user experience in 2015. This might include software that can be used to create smart glasses. Apple continues to launch its typical product line – iPhones, iPads, Mac OS X tablets, and devices. Aside from Air Power canceling its battery charger, there was no indication Apple was working on things. In 2022 Apple is currently rumored to release a VR-based phone that should have at least AR-specific specs by then.

The word on the turf is that Apple‘s long-rumored augmented reality glasses might make a debut in 2022. These AR glasses are all confirmed by the reliable leaks giving an exciting glimpse into this futuristic first generation of wearable smart glasses. The earliest we can see these glasses is in the second half of 2023, states Mark German from Bloomberg. According to TF international securities analyst KUO, who is the most reliable apple expert predicted that 2022 is the earliest timespan for the launch of the headset. Either way, the project is in work for real.

Apple AR glasses intend to blend the real world with the virtual one. The apple glass is believed to work by synchronizing with the iPhone and the iPad. Things like texts, emails, maps, games, social media can all be seen in your field of vision and displayed in an attractive way that will not block the concept of the real world.

Apple also intends to launch third-party apps and a dedicated app store to work with the glasses. Along with the other 53 patents for 3D mapping technology, A recent patent that has been issued to apple is the technology that will allow apple glasses to adjust to a person’s eyesight improving vision using optical subassemblies, which means the apple glass wearer need not get the traditional prescription for a drink.

The lenses may also be able to change and adapt corrections based on different vision conditions, acting as bifocal, trifocal, or progressive lenses. This is a huge step forward in eye care and vision. It is also believed that Apple will launch a satellite program to work with glasses just like google earth, that will assist in exploring around seamlessly.

Another patent suggests that you’ll be able to change the background colors with the help of the glasses, changing the solid color background with something else. One apple glass patent points to how you can digitally teleport to different locations as the view of your favorite place you’d be directly visible in your lenses, SOUNDS FUTURISTIC RIGHT? It is also believed that glass will enable us to see better in the dark with the help of depth sensors. Another expectation is that only the wearer would be able to view the content of glasses, which means any other bystander can not peek into your business.

The Apple Watch is an excellent place to look at how Apple handles wearable technology designs that are subtle but still high-tech. John Prosser has seen the prototype videos and calls the glasses’ sleek’. The current prototype of the glasses is said to resemble regular glasses with thick frames that house the battery and chips and LIDAR scanners but no cameras for privacy purposes.

It is believed that the glasses will be equipped with an eye-tracking system to interact with the environment around them seamlessly. Leaker john Prosser hearsay, these glasses will be called ‘apple glass’ that would be capable of displaying information, notifications on both lenses.

Some patents point towards the capability of these AR glasses to project the AE directly into the wearer’s retina. This means Apple is trying to eliminate the small screens and use micro projectors and beams to project images directly into viewers’ retinas.
Gestures in front of the glasses can control Apple glass, said Prosser, who saw a prototype pair video. He also mentions that apple could announce apple glass as “one more thing” as an accessory with the iPhone.

The price tag for glasses will reportedly start at 499 dollars plus the cost of prescription lenses. The wireless chargers come up with glasses along with a plastic stand. Wireless signals, intelligent displays, microphones, powerful processors will need excellent battery life, so apple will have to find balance. There is no speculation on the first-generation glasses to come in a tinted variety of sunglasses, as that would interfere with other aspects of the glasses. Still, perhaps we can expect them shortly.

Apple is likely to take a similar approach, creating AR glasses in several iterations internally until the technology matures. Years may pass while the product is being developed, waiting for technology to catch up with the concept.

The iPhone has a springboard, a set of applications that act as a home screen, but the apple glasses have starboard. Though no interface elements have been leaked, it is speculated that Apple will use its iconography and UI for AR interface. The LIDAR scanner will allow us to control the glasses with gestures. Some patents also suggest that Apple might be developing a controller for a more interactive experience for gaming.

Apple is working with TSMC to develop an “ultra- advance” micro-OLED display used in apples upcoming augmented devices like smart glasses. This display is expected to be less than 1 inch in size. Micro-OLED displays are built directly on-chip wafers rather than glass substrate, which results in thinner, smaller, and more power-efficient.

As of early 2021, Apple is entering a “second phase of development” on an augmented reality glasses prototype. The glasses are set to go through the third phase of development in a few months. Then when the prototype design is completed, the wearable will go through a six to nine-month period of engineering verification.
