As per the latest reports, The American government authorities allegations include:

  • salmonella contamination

  • carcinogenic pesticide

  • cancer-causing pesticides

Does salmonella and ethylene oxide cause cancer?

Basically, ethylene oxide is a flammable colorless gas with a sweet odor and it can cause cancer activities. The primary routes of human exposure to ethylene oxide are inhalation and ingestion, which may occur through occupational, consumer, or environmental exposure.

Ethylene Oxide is a chemical used to preserve spices for longer and is also used in pesticides. Its consumption beyond permissible limits can be carcinogenic. It can cause STOMACH and BREAST cancer, can also cause Leukemia. This Ethylene oxide damages internal organs of the Female and Male body

Ethylene Oxide is a group 1 carcinogen, which is the same as alcohol and cigarettes.

The EU has set a limit of 0.1 mg/kg for ethylene oxide but as per the reports of MDH and everest spices mix, It has 70 times more than Ethylene oxide which is not even approved by FSSAI.

The question and concern rises that FSSAI asked for 20 days to rectify this problem even though the report here says that it has 7.57 of Ethylene oxide.

This means that government is promoting non communicable diseases and danger to its people even when they know about the amount of MDH is spreading health diseases.

Which MDH and EVEREST masala have been banned by the governments of Singapore and Hong kong?

As per the research the main masala banned by the countries are:

  • MDH’s Madras Curry Powder
  • Sambhar Masala Powder
  • Everest Group’s Fish Curry Masala

After giving these SPICES for further lab tests it was proved that it contains a high amount of ETHYLENE OXIDE and makes it unfit for human consumption

Why government is not taking any action?

It’s not the first time when India raises the question about the quality concerns. Last week, the government gave an order to remove Bornvita from the health category . Also, Nestle was alleged to have more sugar content than the products sold in the market.

And now, MDH and Everest Spices are adding cancer causing elements which is consumed by more than half of the India as it is the second largest spices product in the market.

Why government and FSSAI is taking too long to gather the required information specially in the health category? Public health is becoming a huge thing to worry for Indians.

MDH is ignoring the queries of having Ethylene Oxide in its product whereas Everest has solved all the queries

Is MDH guilty for having a unfit consumption of Ethylene Oxide in their products?

“India’s food regulator, the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI), is now checking the quality standards of the two companies, following the moves in Hong Kong and Singapore” as per the reports.

How many cancer cases have been increasing in India and why?

Over the past decade the cases of stomach cancer are increasing gradually in India.

It is noticed that stomach cancer are happening because of the dietary practices because of the preference in spicy and preserved foods.
The dietary pattern includes highly spicy foods, more salty and packaged spices too.
India has reportedly found 1.41M cases of stomach cancers in FY-2023

In the end, MDH and FSSAI has taken a lot of risk to create problems for the humans and made them consume all the cancer causing spices and foods throughout every year without proper investigating the product and its production.
Government watching all of this stuff and not reacting to it makes it uncomfortable for the public to see how non communicable diseases are casually going from one person to another.
MDH being the second largest Indian brand bans from the most famous countries like HONG KONG, SINGAPORE, MALDIVES and UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.
