Earlier this month, the Integral Coach Factory (ICF) in Chennai delivered the train set to the region. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is anticipated to signal the train’s departure later this week.

Senior railway authorities were present while the testing run was being done. The West Central Railway (WCR) zone’s first semi-high-speed train also debuts on this route. The WCR zone would be in charge of operating and maintaining the train.
