Since last two years I am working in the social media domain and have seen how certain news posts are circulated with sole intentions of creating propaganda for the benefit of some stakeholders. This make me realize of the fact that the need of the hour is to have a media portal where by the news with a thoughtful view and analysis with bloggers also sharing their perceptions.
Many of the people whom I know were writing blogs. But I realize that many of them after writing one-two blogs, quit writing, as their blogs rarely find readers. It came to my mind to develop a platform for the bloggers where the bloggers also get their due share of attention with their personal information get shared with the readers. Our Editorial Board not only read the blog first but also has a reality check on the facts and figures mentioned in the blog.
With the hard work of my IT Development team we have launched our start-up two months back. Entrepreneurship is when u believes in your vision and idea, a confidence that you are working on correct path to achieve your goals with a power to bear losses as well. 25. What do you think is the biggest threat to the success of small businesses & Start-ups today?
The threat is the big media houses and journalists who have ruled over the media industry over the several decades don’t lead the new start-ups to survive and operate in the ecosystem. For a start-up, funding and money is a serious issue which also has a limit to it. We could not be able to spend the same amount that a 10 year old media portal can spend. We at start-ups finds solutions by out fo the box solutions of marketing and promotions to compete with the leaders in the market.
