The Edgistify Innovation Challenge edition II has gained enormous response with around 6555 individual registrations from 600+ engineering & medical colleges as well as working professionals from the supply chain & logistics industry. About 2344 teams have registered for all the four categories of participation offered by the contest.
The Edgistify Innovation Challenge is a competition that lays out a platform for students, working professionals, and aspiring entrepreneurs to work on real world problem statements concerning the supply chain and logistics sector. This competition is a brainchild of the Thane based data-driven logistics platform Edgistify.
Edgistify provides one point-solution which helps its clients design the entire supply chain from Warehouse procurement, Vendor management, Manpower Requirement to just finding the right service providers, ultimately helping them to make lightning-fast decisions.
Edgistify is a conjunction of “Edge, Logistics and Simplify. It was established in the year 2017. Within a short period, it has been able to bag clients that are major industry players such as Reliance Jio & Myntra. It was successful in enabling Reliance Jio to select 100+ warehouses across India.
Warehouse Edge, a tech platform for warehouse & retail procurement is a flagship product of Edgistify. Apart from this, Edgistify provides India with its first logistics-focused manpower platform, offering 50+ logistics job profiles available with a 97.99% fill ratio for every position available in 150+ cities across India.
The Edgistify Innovation challenge is a by-product of the thought processes of Edgistify’s founders Umang Shukla, Kamal Kumawat, and Antim Suman. They wish to bring about technology led revolution within the supply chain and logistics industry.
This competition provides an opportunity for the contestants to exhibit their ideas in the presence of experts and veterans from the supply chain and logistics industry. These ideas are not just heard but implemented by the Edgistify team in their live projects. Apart from this, it offers a total cash prize worth INR 1 lac and an opportunity to join the organization.
The contest offers three main categories for participation- Real word problems, B-plan, and Research papers. These categories have some sub-categories. The contestants can participate in all three major categories but can select only one from the sub-categories.
The first edition of the Edgistify Innovation Challenge was a huge success. It witnessed top-notch presentations from all the participants. The second edition has received 3.6 times more participation as compared to edition one. It has increased the level of expectations of the organizers.
EIC edition II has completed its first round of report submission. The Edgistify team is all set to witness the out of the box ideas put forth by all the participating teams.
