TogetherThrive Foundation Honored with “Most Promising NGO 2024” Award at National Summit
TogetherThrive Foundation, a nonprofit focused on legal empowerment and social impact, has been awarded the “Most Promising NGO 2024” at the National Summit 2024, held at Raj Bhawan, Goa on August 23, 2024. The award, organized by the Indian Achievers Forum with media partners Brandworks, Zee Times, and CSR Times, recognizes organizations demonstrating exceptional growth potential and a strong commitment to addressing India’s social challenges.
Founded in 2023 by Mayukh Maitra and Surabhi Sinha, TogetherThrive Foundation has quickly made a name for itself through its innovative use of technology to simplify complex legal information. The organization provides meticulously vetted legal resources that empower individuals, particularly women, facing systemic challenges in areas such as family rights, economic exploitation, and sexual harassment.
In his remarks about receiving the award, co-founder Mayukh Maitra emphasized the foundation’s ongoing mission. “This award is a testament to the work we’ve done, but it’s also a call to action for what remains. We are dedicated to making legal literacy a tool for empowerment, especially for those who need it most,” he said.
One of the foundation’s key contributions has been its AI-driven solutions, including tools that make legal information more accessible. Notably, the Profile Evaluator tool developed by TogetherThrive is being leveraged by Ascend, a Chicago-based immigration firm, to assist over 100 high-skilled immigrants in the U.S., with a special focus on Indian and Indian-origin professionals. This tool helps streamline the immigration process by offering personalized, AI-driven guidance.
Surabhi Sinha, co-founder of TogetherThrive, acknowledged the importance of collaboration in the foundation’s progress. “This recognition would not have been possible without the support of our partners and the communities we serve. We remain committed to developing innovative, tech-driven solutions that have a real impact,” Sinha stated.
In just over a year, TogetherThrive Foundation has already gained considerable recognition, having received the “Most Promising NGO 2024″ award from Prime Insights Magazine” earlier this month. With this latest accolade, the foundation aims to expand its reach, continuing to bridge the gap between legal complexities and the everyday realities of underserved populations.
As TogetherThrive looks to the future, their commitment to using technology to drive social change remains at the forefront of their mission, helping to ensure that legal literacy becomes a fundamental right accessible to all.
