Review of the Amazfit GTS 3.

The Amazfit GTS 3 has a polished software experience and a wealth of fitness monitoring features at a low price.

The high-end wristwatch industry, like smartphones, has come to a standstill; you can only get better at anything these days. On the other hand, in the budget smartwatch market, the purpose of closing the gap between low-cost and high-cost smartwatches has been achieved. The Amazfit GTS 3 proves it, and it does it without increasing the price.

The GTS 3 is priced at INR13,999 and prioritizes a good wristwatch above a fitness tracker. This year’s Apple Watch SE looks more like an Apple Watch SE, especially with the pink hue, following in the footsteps of its predecessors.

The GTS 3 game comes in a square box with a partitioned interior. When you dismantle everything, you’ll discover:

  • Keep your eyes fixed for the band.
  • Charge according to the instructions

Amazfit GTS 3

The Amazfit GTS 3 has a gorgeous design.

The first Apple Watch inspired the predecessors, and the current one is no exception. It is slimmer and lighter.

The 1.75-inch panel is relatively large, and the thin bezels add to the AMOLED display’s Ultra HD brightness. Although it can not be said like the Apple Watch, the crown-shaped button is like a scroll wheel to traverse menus. The silicon strap is soothing to the wrist even when sleeping.

Apart from being well-designed, Zepp OS provides to explore; you’ll find almost all smartphone features here, including Alarm, Clock, Timer, Weather, Barometer, and much more. Voice commands through Alexa and Offline are both supported.

Swiping and tapping across the surface are smooth. It’s exciting to choose from 100s of dial faces (150+ in the shop, including 15 animated ones). However, only 12 may be kept in stock on the watch. Not only that, but the feature of uploading a photo or changing one of the 12 unique watch faces may appeal to you. Numerous on-screen elements also include colorful iconography.

You must first link the device with your smartphone to interact with the display and other underlying services. For this, you can use the Zepp app (available on both iOS and Android).

While it’s disappointing that it cannot still respond to messages and make phone calls, it makes up for it with universal compatibility for both Android and iOS smartphones. You can use the Zepp app to access its capabilities and even alter its health tracking functionalities.

GTS 3

Amazfit GTS 3 is a health-tracking device.

Health tracking has always been the top feature of Amazfit watches. With the new BioTracker 3.0 sensor, you can track your stress, sleep, menstrual cycle, and steps. The GTS 3 registers data and the step counter are entirely accurate.

The data presentation, on the other hand, left me even more impressed.

The Zepp app attractively plots all your data and even syncs it with Apple Health/Google Fit.

Another favorite feature is the One-tap measurement function, which combines all sensors to track SpO2 monitoring and more, and presents a summary. The PAI scoring system from Amazfit is back and motivates you to stay in shape.

GTS 3 battery by Amazfit

Although Amazfit advertises a battery life of up to 12 days, the Amazfit GTS 3 may barely last 3-4 days at most.

The Final Judgment

The Amazfit GTS 3 has a refined appearance and feel, and given the plethora of fitness monitoring functions, it appeals to fashion and people conscious about their health. The Zepp OS experience on the GTS 3 seems to outdo other wearables at this price, including some low-cost Wear OS devices.

We strongly suggest the Amazfit GTS 3 for its appearance, intelligent features, and fitness monitoring if you have a budget of INR15,000.
