The telecom giant Reliance Jio has launched its Jio Meet app, a new product in the market. It has been introduced in the budget market to give stiff competition to the ZOOM app and Google Meet.

There was a conversation about the launch of the JioMeet app in the past two months as the company was working on this app for a long time. From April to June, commencing with a deal with Facebook in which the social network acquired a 9.99% of Jio, after an uninterrupted streak of fund updates and seeing a huge surge in the craze of video calling due to the pandemic, now finally the telecommunications company of Mukesh Ambani launched its video-conferencing application on Thursday night.

Along with Google Play Store and Apple App Store, this app has also been released for desktop users. Through the JioMeet app, 100 people can connect simultaneously.

Multi-Device Login in JioMeet

The Jio Meet app user interface is quite clear and easy. It is very similar to a zoom application. The Jio Meet app also provides multi-device login support. Maximal five devices can be connected. You can also switch from one device to another while calling in the app. Jio Meet also gives a safe driving mode feature with screen sharing.

JioMeet is ready to hit the other VC apps like Google Meet and Zoom

Reliance has launched the Jio Meet app in the competition for Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Skype and Zoom, and other popular video conferencing apps.

Senior Vice President at Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd, Pankaj Pawar stated: JioMeet is a platform with several special services. It can run on any operating system and device. Its other special feature is that it doesn’t limit collaboration like a common video-conferencing application.

Jio Meet app is Special for Health and Education

Jio recently announced that his eHealth platform is integrated with the Meet app. Through this, users can connect with doctors and take prescriptions. In addition to this, you can also order medicines and online lab tests. A digital waiting room for physicians is also accessible in this app.

Virtual classrooms for students and teachers can be created with the help of the electronic education platform provided in it. In this, students can take notes along with the recording of the session. From this app, teachers can give homework and students can easily submit their homework.

Reliance JioMeet (JioMeet VC application) organizes direct calls and meetings with 100 participants

Besides this, you can also create unlimited meetings in a single day. Unlike other video calling applications, no code is required to add up to 100 users in a meeting on this app.

JioMeet has been introduced with a very simple interface, which looks like a zoom application, but a quick test has shown that it works the same as other VC major applications.
