Infosys partners with Microsoft to deliver smart buildings

Infosys revealed that partnership would help to use the latest digital technologies and solutions that even aim to improve the lifecycle of building operations, constructions and the user experience of individuals who work directly or indirectly in the sphere.

Microsoft will be going to provide its Azure services and IOT sensor-enabled devices along with the Infosys global network of experience designs and innovation hubs.

“Physical spaces and buildings are the latest in adopting digital transformation. We are excited to have Microsoft as a partner in creating market-leading solutions in real-estate management,” Corey Glickman, vice president and head of strategic design consulting at Infosys, said in a press release.

“We will fuse mature and emerging technologies to incubate space changing offerings that we can then begin to deploy at scale,” added Glickman.

Built on the Azure platform, the solutions would use the intelligent cloud, IOT and edge technologies for better building monitoring, predictive maintenance, analysis and space utilization analytics. The report revealed.
