Legal notice served to Meesho, Shadowfax over alleged ghost orders

We have also investigated the process of Vendor Empanelment, Employee Empanelment, employee onboarding, any possible employee harassment, data protection, any possible privacy breach, and data leak in Meesho.

Some media houses including Business Today also asked if Meesho can deliver profits?

At the same time several reputed Indian media houses, including Times Of India, Business Today and international media house Reuters also reported on Zombie unicorns and included Meesho in their list.

Meesho, through this legal notice via a highly expensive legal firm like Luthra & Luthra, has not just tried to suppress the voice of Independent & unbiased journalism but also has tried to intimidate a media house and, at the same time, is trying to indulge in SLAPP (strategic lawsuit against public participation) litigation tactics against a small media house. If Meesho claims all these articles to be defamatory, have they sent legal notices to bigger media houses like ET, Times of India, Reuters, Business Today? Why Only suppress and attack small media houses?

Inventiva would also like to confirm that Inventiva and its entire team stand on their commitment, dedication, and passion towards unbiased, researched, and investigative journalism, and no attack or threats can make us threatened. We are committed and dedicated towards our journalistic duties, and by sending this legal notice, Meesho has confirmed their ill-intentions to suppress our voice and at the same time, made sure that we are on the right investigation part.

The Inventiva team is already working on some more reportings & articles on Meesho and will come out with more articles about the financials & IPO and if any wrongdoing, mismanagement, poor service & scams, etc are found, they will be presented in front of the citizens of India to make a fair and learned decision before investing their hard-earned money in any such companies.

In the last, we would only like to quote “News Is What Everyone Wants To Suppress, Rest Are All Advertisiments” ‘खबर वह है, जिसे कोई दबाना चाहे। बाकी सब केवल विज्ञापन है’
