India also know as Hindustan & Bharat, No other country has so many names as India, no other country has such rich traditional and cultural values like India. The 5000 years old Indian culture is both ancient and varied. But unity in diversity which is the main mantra of Indian civilisation can be seen if any one monitors its various art forms and traditional diversity. If you try to compare India, you will see that each state of India can be compared with countries in Europe. Each state has their own religion, tradition, language & food.
India stands for Unity in diversity. Indian food, Indian cloths, Indian Jewelery, Indian Handicrafts are all globally desired by people from every country around the globe.
Today we are presenting Two brothers Harsh Bhanushali & Mayur Bhanushali whose venture Rudri offers apparels for contemporary Indian woman,
Rudra is a Rigvedic deity, associated with wind or storm, and the hunt. The name has been translated as “the roarer”. In the Rigveda, Rudra has been praised as the “mightiest of the mighty”. The Shri Rudram hymn from the Yajurveda is dedicated to Rudra, and is important in the Saivism sect.
Rudri is feminine version of Rudra, This can be called as fearless & powerful superwoman. Meet The founders of Rudri whose ethnic wears makes Indian woman more Indian and depicts the true cultural and traditional values of being an Indian. Presenting Founders of Rudri a pure apna desi brand from ampchi mumbai.
1.What is the Name of Your Venture? Any specific reason for this name?
RUDRI. India ka Brand. The Reason We Choose this name was because we wanted to resemble India to the world so had to be some Indian traditional name that goes well with Indian women.

2.Who is your target Audience/clients?
Our Collection Is Targeted For Contemporary Indian women. Ranging from 18-45.
3.Where is your venture based (city, state, country) & What are your geographical target areas?
We Are based out in Mumbai,Maharashtra . our target areas are tier-1 cities. We are targeting this on the basis of price range & Collection that is modern yet traditional
4.What problems does your venture resolve? What are your products or services?
India Is Major Producer for sarees,Indian Dresses & Kurtis but as you see there is no clear winner or a brand that specialises in this field. We are One Stop Store For Sarees,Dresses & Kurtis.
5.Share the idea or story behind the venture. How did it came to an existence? What motivated you to start your own venture?
Even in india you dont have stores that have special focus on traditional wear. The prominent stores that are famous have reach just limited to a city or state but no brand has an all over reach.the area is dominated by family owned business & highly unorganized. Even myself from an family owned saree business but what i saw was a scope of expansion. When we visit to malls or even local markets i did not see an big company or an brand specially targetting this market. Shoppers stop & Lifestyles have been doing this but specifically targeting through inventory model leads to highly valuable customers.when it comes to men shopping we have zara that we know buy it either from delhi store or mumbai store its the same brand but when womens traditional wear is concerned there is no one. A list designers are not go to options for everyone & hence this got me going
6.Who are your biggest competitors and how do you differentiate yourself from them?
We Are Currently Targeting Untapped Market. The competitors can be considered as who are doing good in this sector but our inventory based model stands out with specially curated outfits from across India.
7.How did you identify your co-founder? Tell us some thing about your co-founder/
The whole company is managed by Harsh Bhanushali & Mayur Bhanushali both are brothers. Connected thing with the webiste are outsourced
8.How did you hired your first team members? What skills Do you want in your employees/team?
Quality Innovation over Education Qualification.
9.What expansion plans are you looking for the next 2 years, next 5 years?
We are Planning To Open Our First Store Within 2 years & Expanding later as per traction.

India’s Go To Brand For Womens Traditional Wear
11.What are your goals over the next 1, 3, 6 and 12 months?
Currently We are targetting Gaining Some Traction & Studying Consumer Behaviour

We Would look for fundraise after gaining some traction
13.What were the problems you faced during the starting days and how did you resolve them?
Logistics. We had multiple options No idea about anythinh such as e-commerce but we trusted in quality & Went ahead with Aramex as they are long player in market & Reputed one so Risk is low compared to others
14.What was the most challenging part of your journey till now? How did you overcome those challenges?
The Most Challenging Part Was to Setup Of Whole Process. Myself Mayur Bhanushali is just a Graduate & With No Professional Skills & Dreaming so big itself was a challenge & today Launching is Just a beginning of a journey

Surfing Internet Whenever Free & Getting Valuable Inputs About business. Actually i need to get some non work time as i love taking too many tasks in my hands & Complete them.

Idli my anytime go to food.
18.Whom do you consider your idol or biggest motivator?
Mukesh Ambani Sir & Sachin Tendulkar Sir. I have my Mantra that i follow is that if You Can Dream It You Can Make It.
19.What do you feel is the major difference between entrepreneurs and those who work for someone else?
Entrepreneurs Are Always Free For Innovations & Decision Making While Working For Someone Else has just one Motive to Achieve desired Targets & Make People Satisfied With Work.
20.If you had the chance to start your career over again, what would you do differently?
Would Have Launched Rudri Atleast 5 Years Back & Achieved an Good Reputation in Market
21.How has being an entrepreneur affected your family & Social life?
When You Are Creating Something Which nobody has done its definetely Going to affect regular lifestyle. I was not able to give family desired time same for friends. It was like a cutoff. But in return The way family & Friends have Supported me is just awesome.
22.Anything, you would like to say to our readers or upcoming entrepreneurs?
Dont Look or Work For Qualification Work For Innovation. There may be Thousands of people in your field but if you are able to present yourself different from other then there is no stopping you. The other thing i believe is Quality over Pricing. Never ever compromise on Quality.
23.Tell us something about your education & family background.
I Am An Graduate From S.K.Somaiya College. My Father Has been Into Saree Business For Last 30 Years Or More For Which he Started as Working In Dadar Prominent Store & From There the Journey Started & In 2005 he opened his first retail store in Mulund & Its Been Running Successfully for last 12 years.
24.What is your USP which makes it unique & different from other start-ups in similar domains.
The way we have presented ourself.more of the startups that are in similar domains are marketplace & We are inventory based so the collection is More Curated than anywhere else. The knowledge about the product helps us understand consumer behaviour. The products are not generally available in the local markets
25. What do you think is the biggest threat to the success of small businesses & Start-ups today?
I think When you Do Business you bound to take risk & So You Should Never Worry About The Threats. The biggest threat is that for gaining customers the companies are throwing away discounts which is hole is self pockets & Hence the profitability is far away from reach.
26. Do you consider yourself successful and by what means do you measure success?
The Launch Of Rudri Is Just Phase 1 In Progress. Our First Step of Suucess would be our First Store.
