According to the research, $910 billion in billings and sales were produced by the sale of physical products and services, $109 billion by in-app advertising, and $104 billion by digital goods and services. This adds up to a startling $1.1 trillion in total.
A comprehensive investigation was carried out to investigate the main parameters that contributed to the growth of the App Store ecosystem. The App Store’s success may be due to its accessibility and worldwide reach, both essential elements. Thanks to the inclusion of over 195 local payment methods and 44 currencies across 175 storefronts, developers may now interact with people worldwide. According to the survey, there was a considerable increase in app downloads in 2022, with more than 50% occurring in app stores outside the creators’ native nations.
