Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev launched “Coronil” medicine on Tuesday, the first Ayurvedic treatment for corona. He claimed to have cured Corona patients with these pills. Ramdev said that the drug used for corona has tested and tried twice, and the drug clinic also tested on 100 people. He claimed that within three days, 69% of patients recovered and their reports were negative. He also said that if this medicine is taken, the patient can be cured within 7-14 days. Coronil is formed from a combination of Tulsi, Ashwagandha, and Giloy. This medicine can be taken twice a day-the morning and evening.
Coronil was launched during this period when the antiviral medicines Remdesivir and Favipiravir were recommended for limited use in COVID-19 cases in India.
At this event, Ramdev said: “The moment which the entire country and the world was waiting, today we announced that Corona’s drugs are available now”. The world is working on evidence-based medicine. With the joint effort of Professor Balbir Singh Tomar and Our Acharya Ji, Corona’s medicine has made. It will be very beneficial to control corona cases.
Moreover, he also appended: “In the clinical case research, we involved 280 sufferers and all of them were recovered. A clinical controlled experiment was also conducted. The experiment was conducted at the Patanjali Research Center where 95 patients engaged in the trial and 69% of the patients’ healed within 3 days, 100% recovered within 7 days.”
The drug is produced by Divya Pharmacy of Haridwar and Patanjali Ayurved Limited of Haridwar. The drug is based on the joint research of Haridwar’s Patanjali Institute and Jaipur National Institute of Medical Sciences.
“After taking our pill, COVID patients can be recovered within 5 to 14 days and then tested negative. Therefore, we can say that now COVID can be cured by Ayurveda. We only conduct controlled clinical trials. In the next 4-5 days, we will publish confirmation and data,” Balkrishna said earlier this month.
The Coronil kit which is for 30 days is available at only costs 600 rupees. However, the company claims that it will be given free of charge to people living below the poverty line.
