Get To Know What Is Government’s ‘Ownership Scheme’ and How Will It Benefit You

There is big news for crores of people living in rural areas. The Modi government launched the ‘ownership scheme’ on Friday, at the Panchayati Raj. This will help a lot of people living in rural areas to get the ownership of their land.

What is the scheme?

Under this scheme, every village property will be mapped through drones in all villages. After mapping the people of Badad village, they will be given a certificate of ownership of their property.

This scheme may arise many questions in your mind that what will be the benefit of this scheme for you? You already own the property and the name of your family and family members is registered in the name of the certificate. Why do you want this certificate?

There are a lot of villages in which there is record of the cultivation in Khasra-Khatauni but there is no record of the ownership of the residential property of the villages. Through this scheme, all the land without defined ownership will be given ownership certificate after identifying the true owner.

Let us know what are the benefits of ‘ownership scheme’ :

Banks to provide loans on the residential property of villages

The villagers will get many benefits from the ownership plan :

  • This will end confusion and quarrels over residential property.
  • This will make planning and implementation of development schemes in villages easy.
  • The biggest advantage is that till now banks didn’t give loan on the residential property of the villages. After this scheme, the banks will provide loans. That is, you can take a loan from the bank through the ownership certificate.

Where is the scheme started?

Currently, the scheme is being started in Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

The land will be measured by drone

In the ‘Ownership Scheme’, residential land will be measured using drone technology. The Ministry of Panchayati Raj will include the Panchayati Raj and Revenue Departments of the States and the Survey of India. Each property falling within the village limits from the drone will be digitally mapped from the drone, along with the boundaries of each revenue segment. According to the Ministry of Panchayati Raj, the property certificate of each household in the village will be generated by the state governments based on accurate measurements. In this way, the owner of the property will be able to get the ownership of the property easily.
