First Installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme Transferred To 7.92 Crore Farmers

Under the first installment of the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) scheme, the central government has transferred a sum of Rs 15,841 crore to the bank accounts of a total of 7.92 crore farmers in the beginning of the current financial year. If you are still deprived of the benefits of this scheme, then you should first contact your accountant, lawyer or District Agricultural Officer. If you are still unable to avail the benefits, contact the helpline (155261 or 1800115526). Apart from this, you can also talk on 011-23381092. 

According to the Ministry of Agriculture, under this scheme, except for high income farmers, all farmers are given a total assistance of Rs 6000 in three installments of Rs 2000 each in every financial year. The government decided to distribute the first installment of the current financial year early in view of the crisis of the Corona virus epidemic.

Amount of Rs 15,841 crore sent directly to farmers account

In a statement from the Ministry of Agriculture, it said that 7.92 crore farmer families have been benefited from the Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana amid restrictions imposed from March 24 due to the coronavirus crisis. A total amount of Rs 15,841 crore has been directly transferred to their accounts. Amid a nationwide lockdown, on 27 March the government promised that it would add Rs 2000 of the first installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana scheme to 8.69 crore eligible farmers  in their accounts in the first week of the new fiscal year.

People have been barred from leaving their homes under the Corona virus. Transport services are closed. This restriction is for 21 days. Its duration will be completed on 14 April. Odisha has extended the lockdown to the end of this month and many more states are in the process of taking similar decisions as the spread continues.

You can register yourself by visiting PM-Kisan Portal. This facility has been introduced for all farmers. In the second phase, Aadhar verification is necessary. If you have registered to take advantage of this scheme and till now money has not come in the bank account, then you can get information about its status by entering your Aadhaar, mobile and bank account number by visiting PM Kisan Portal.

In India total case rises to 7,447; death toll rises to 239

The number of people infected with corona in the world has reached to 16,19,944 and the death toll has crossed one lakh. At the same time, after the number of 1035 cases reported in India in the last 24 hours, the number of people affected by Covid-19 has increased to 7,447. At the same time, 40 people have died due to corona in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll of the Covid-19 epidemic to 239. Total number of people recovered in India is 643.
