Discussions have already taken place between Uber and the Adani Group, which operates seven airports in the country. The two companies, Adani Group and Uber informed about a partnership that will see Adani Airports now have dedicated Uber pickup zones at five of its seven airports, sources said.
“This is part of the Adani Group’s strategy to build complementary offerings that will support the growth of the airport business,” as informed by sources. The Adani Group operates airports in Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Jaipur, Thiruvananthapuram, Guwahati, and Mangalore. Apart from its airport business, the Ahmedabad-based group invests in other companies.
