Drone Attack On Russian Air: Is It A Bold Move By Ukraine Lands To Give A Counteroffensive Slap Against Russian Invaders?

Russia accuses Ukraine of attempt to kill Putin with drones!

Recently, a video circulating on Russian social media showed a cloud of smoke over Moscow’s Kremlin, following what the presidential administration said was a Ukrainian drone strike aimed at President Vladimir Putin, who has a house in the walled complex. The terrorist incident did not affect Russian President Vladimir Putin. According to the press department, his schedule has not changed, and he will proceed as usual. Unverified social media footage purported to show an item soaring over the Kremlin before exploding. Meanwhile, no evidence of the alleged incident has been presented.

Russian administration blames Ukraine for the event.

The claimed event occurred as Ukrainian soldiers prepared for a counteroffensive against Russian invaders, more than a year after Putin authorised a full-scale invasion. According to the press service, the Kyiv regime attempted to launch an unmanned aerial vehicle strike on the Russian president’s Kremlin apartment. As per the report, two unmanned aerial vehicles attacked the Kremlin. The Kremlin stated that it was a pre-planned terrorist attack and the assassination attempt on the Russian president, which occurred soon before Victory Day and the May 9 Parade, both of which would be attended by international dignitaries.

No life or material damage is reported due to drone attack.

Mr Putin’s spokesperson said that he was not in the Kremlin at the time. The drones were halted as a consequence of prompt operations made by military and special services utilising electronic warfare equipment, according to the Kremlin. A statement from the press agency mentioned that their fall and the shards were strewn across the Kremlin caused neither injuries nor material damage. It’s challenging to identify what sort of drones were employed, according to Pavel Felgenhauer, a Russian defence specialist who worked as a senior research officer at the Soviet Academy of Sciences.

How stern reactions were given by Russian administration?

The Russian presidential press office has stated that Moscow will be ready to retaliate against Kyiv’s effort to carry out a drone strike on the Kremlin whenever it sees fit. Russia has the right to punish whenever and wherever it deems suitable, according to the statement.

Ukraine denied their involvement in the alleged attack.

Ukraine denied any involvement in this drone attack. According to the spokesman for President Volodymyr Zelensky, Ukraine is concentrating on reclaiming its land after Russia invaded last year. The purported attack was most likely carried out by Russian partisans, according to Anton Gerashchenko, adviser to Ukraine’s minister of internal affairs.

The securities increased in Moscow after the alleged attack.

The mayor of Moscow banned illegal drones from flying above the city. According to Sergei Sobyanin, drone flights would need a specific government licence. Sobyanin did not give a rationale for the restriction, simply that it would prevent the “illegal use of drones that can impede law enforcement work.”

Similar Attacks of sabotage justify that Russian lands are exposed to enemies.

Several Russian cities had already announced that this year’s Victory Day celebrations would be scaled back. Russian officials have justified the measures by citing security concerns and attacks by pro-Ukrainian groups. Throughout recent weeks, there have been explosions and fires throughout Russia. Recent alleged strikes in Russia have acted as a warning that the country is vulnerable to hostile blows.

They have struck as Moscow prepares to commemorate the Soviet victory over the Nazis on May 9, an occasion that has become essential to Putin’s authority. Hundreds of firemen were battling a massive fire recently, which Russian authorities blamed on a Ukrainian drone falling into an oil facility on Russia’s lands of the bridge it built to occupy Crimea.

Meanwhile, a second goods train derailed in the Russian province of Bryansk, which borders Ukraine. Russia also accused Ukraine of attacking an air station deep within Russian territory in December, which contains strategic bomber jets equipped with nuclear weapons.

A drone crashed near Kolomna, some 110 kilometres (70 miles) from Moscow’s downtown, in February. Ukraine has always refrained from claiming credit for strikes on Russia or Russian-annexed Crimea, but leaders in Kyiv have praised such actions with cryptic or humorous statements.

Conclusion.

What happened in Moscow was designed to escalate the situation before May 9, said Serhiy Nikiforov, spokesperson for Ukraine’s presidential administration. Another official said the claimed occurrence suggested Russia was “preparing a large-scale terrorist provocation” in Ukraine. It is feasible that Russia may direct its soldiers in Ukraine to strike the presidential offices in central Kyiv in response.
